00:05His son and show co-star Rick Harrison wrote in a post on Instagram,

00:30The reality TV series Pawn Stars airs on History and is filmed in Las Vegas at the world-famous

00:49gold and silver pawn shop that opened in 1989. The show stars the late Harrison and Rick,

00:54along with Rick's son Cory, Big Hoss Harrison, and Cory's childhood friend Austin Chumlee Russell.

01:00The show premiered in July 2009 and features a number of local experts who visit the shop to

01:05help evaluate the rare and often kooky items brought in by sellers.

01:09When he was in office, it was like right at the end of the industrial revolution.

01:12The late Harrison provided a lot of the comic relief on the series.
