00:03The 2019 Oscars are almost here, and right now I've got everything you need to know
00:08about Hollywood's biggest night. First up, all five Oscar-nominated songs will be performed
00:12on the show. And yes, that means some superstars will be taking the stage.
00:21Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper will perform their Oscar-nominated and Grammy-winning hit
00:26Shallow Live. Jennifer Hudson will take the stage with all fight from the documentary
00:30RBG, and The Place Where Lost Things Go from Mary Poppins Returns will also be performed
00:35on the Oscar stage. Since Emily Blunt wasn't nominated for Best Actress,
00:39she isn't expected to perform the song. Instead, the Academy is promising a special surprise guest.
00:54Meanwhile, Jillian Welch and David Rawlings will sing When a Cowboy Trades His First for Wings
00:58from The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. And Kendrick Lamar and SZA's hit song,
01:02All the Stars from Black Panther, will also be performed on the Oscar stage.
01:14But it still hasn't been confirmed just who will be performing it. Now this year, the Oscars will go
01:19hostless, marking the first time in 30 years that the Academy has put on the big show without an MC.
01:24So you can expect a star-studded team of Oscar presenters to keep the show going.
01:28And there just might be an Avengers all-star reunion.
01:34Word is that specific details are still being hammered out about just how the Avengers,
01:38who of course are played by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle,
01:43and more of our faves, will be incorporated into the 91st Oscars ceremony.
01:47But the Academy has declined to comment. This year's presenters that we do know for sure include
01:51Awkwafina, Daniel Craig, Tina Fey, Whoopi Goldberg, Brie Larson, Amy Poehler,
01:57Maya Rudolph, Charlize Theron, Tessa Thompson, and Constance Wu. Plus, last year's big winners,
02:03Frances McDormand, Allison Janney, Gary Oldman, and Sam Rockwell will also take part in this year's ceremony.
02:09As far as the nominees go, Roma and The Favourite head into the Oscars with the most nominations,
02:14each pulling in 10 noms.
02:16You're jealous.
02:17You must send Abigail away.
02:18I do not want to.
02:19Let's shoot something.
02:22They'll face off in the Best Screenplay, Best Director, and Best Picture categories.
02:26Also in the Best Picture category are the films Black Panther, Black Klansman, Bohemian Rhapsody,
02:31Green Book, A Star is Born, and Vice.
