00:05Here's everything you need to know about the big show.
00:07The multi-venue ceremony will feature an intimate in-person event at Union Station in Los Angeles,
00:13with additional show elements live from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
00:16There will also be multiple international hubs.
00:19For the third year in a row, the Oscars will not have a traditional host or hosts.
00:23Instead, there will be an ensemble cast of presenters.
00:25Among those slated to be part of the ceremony will be last year's winners of all four acting Oscars,
00:30Joaquin Phoenix, Renee Zellweger, Brad Pitt, and Laura Dern,
00:34as well as Best Picture, Director, and Original Screenplay winner Bong Joon-ho.
00:38Other stars participating include Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Don Cheadle, Brian Cranston, Harrison Ford,
00:45Regina King, Marlee Matlin, Rita Moreno, Reese Witherspoon, and Zendaya.
00:50Will there be a traditional red carpet for these stars to walk?
00:52According to the show's producers, the pre-show will be more like, quote,
00:56pulling back the curtain to the nominees' luncheon, and everyone got to go.
00:59Of course, the Oscars ceremony, which is typically held in February,
01:02was pushed back this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
01:05The Academy also loosened restrictions on eligibility and is allowing films to compete
01:09without having been released in theaters.
01:11Heading into the big night, the Netflix film Mank leads the pack with 10 nominations,
01:16including one for Best Picture.
01:17Other Best Picture nominees include The Father, Judas and the Black Messiah,
01:28Minari, Nomadland, Promising Young Woman, Sound of Metal, and The Trial of the Chicago 7.

01:36The 93rd Oscars will air Sunday, April 25th, at 8pm Eastern, 5pm Pacific, on ABC.
