00:08The Emmy Awards are almost here, and we all know the best part about awards season,

00:13the brutally honest ballot.

00:15The Hollywood Reporter's Scott Feinberg spoke with an anonymous member of the TV Academy

00:20who had an interesting take on the drama series category.

00:25I'm the only person I know who has hated House of Cards from the start, says the voter.

00:30It's always seemed pompous and too impressed with itself and never has worked for me,

00:34but I dip a toe in every season to see if it's gotten any better, and it's like, nope.

00:39But what about HBO's Westworld?

00:41Surely the voter has warmer feelings towards a freshman offering.

00:44In a word, nope.

00:46According to the voter,

00:47I really tried with Westworld, but while I was watching it,

00:51which I did because my wife loves it and I'm a good husband,

00:54I kept thinking to myself, this is pretentious bullshit.

00:57He wasn't wowed by The Handmaid's Tale either,

01:00though Better Call Saul is well-written and well-acted,

01:03and Stranger Things is creepy and fun.

01:05But this voter's heart is with...

01:07this is us.

01:09Every episode was great,

01:10everyone can relate to at least one of those characters,

01:13and it was the one show this year that we would rush home to watch and talk about.
