Transcript
00:00How does it feel to be back here with the Emmys again with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel?
00:03God, we've been talking about it the last couple days.
00:06We just feel so lucky to be invited to this party again.
00:09And in person.
00:10We haven't been here since before the pandemic.
00:14And then we did the Emmys virtually.
00:16So it just feels really nice to be able to see everyone.
00:19And all the other shows you admire all in one place.
00:22It's really, really cool.
00:23Speaking of parties, I've heard there's a big Maisel afterparty tonight with the cast and crew.
00:28That means who's going to party the hardest at that party?
00:32Tony Shalhoub.
00:34Definitely Tony Shalhoub.
00:36Yeah, Tony party's hard.
00:38He's got moves.
00:39And at the end of the last season, of course, the future's really up in the air for Midge.
00:43In season five, I know you're filming it right now.
00:46What might the future hold for her?
00:49It's a great question.
00:50You're going to have to tune in to find out.
00:53I'm sure many, many ups and downs.
00:55You can't get through a season without Midge putting her foot in her mouth and getting in her own way.
01:00And then picking herself back up and moving forward.
01:03Lots of smidge.
01:05Yeah.
01:06And finally, what are you going to miss most about the show?
01:08The people.
01:09I can't even talk about it.
01:10We're all like, the tears are right there.
01:13The people.
01:14This, I mean, I know everyone says it.
01:16And it sounds cliche to probably anyone who watches these things.
01:19But it really is a family.
01:20You sometimes spend more time with your crew than you do with your family.
01:23We work these really long hours.
01:25And we've known each other through so much and through so many life changes.
01:30Through, I mean, I started the show when I was 20, just 26 years old, barely 26.
01:37And it's been such a ride.
01:39I can't even, I'm not even going to have any perspective on it until like three months after we finish.
01:43Not to make you emotional, but what's one part of Midge that you feel like you'll always carry with you?
01:49Well, I'd love to say a shred of her confidence, but I think that's going to be lifelong work.
01:56I'll probably always talk just a little bit faster than before.
