00:03How are you?

00:04Good. How are you? How was your break?

00:07It was wonderful. Lots of rest. A very gentle holiday break for me.

00:13How was yours? What did you do for New Year's?

00:15I was in bed by midnight, and then I was at the beach by 8 a.m.

00:20Nice. I fell asleep on my best friend's couch cuddling her dog,

00:25and then she woke me up and was like, it's midnight.

00:28Right. Welcome to 2025.

00:31If there's any other indication that you are not Annie, that was your New Year's Eve.

00:35I like to be in bed by like 10, honestly. Yeah.

00:40And are you a New Year's resolution intentions person?

00:44I love a fresh start, and I think that the New Year really symbolizes that,

00:50and it's a good excuse to have a fresh start.

00:52So, yeah, of course, I'm always trying to learn something about myself

00:58or grow in some little way.

01:01So hopefully I'll cross a couple of those things off.

01:04Do you do resolutions?

01:06I do, and I have intentions.

01:09They're not resolutions.

01:10Intentions, because I find like I stick to that a little bit better.

01:13I'm curious.

01:14I know one of your resolutions will probably not be to start an Instagram account

01:18because you don't do that.

01:21You don't start social media.

01:27You're not on social media.

01:29Sorry, I'm very aware of what's happening.

01:32What was your question?

01:34One thing I haven't heard you talk about very much is you're not on social media at all.

01:38Tell me why.

01:39Oh, I don't know.

01:40It's just not something that feels right for me.

01:45Will you ever, do you think?

01:47I don't know.

01:49Never say never, I guess, yeah.

01:52By the way, standing here on this line tonight,

01:53a couple people have mentioned your name just as their favorite performance of the year.

01:56Even John Lithgow was like, I just met Mikey Madison.

01:59He was so floored.

02:00Yeah, wow.

02:01This must feel really good.

02:03Have you had a really special encounter with another actor that has really stayed with you,

02:08just who's, you know, reached out, texted, given you a hug, said, I love, I love your work?

02:14Oh, gosh.

02:21We just met, I guess, yeah.

02:26There have been so many incredible people that I've met and become friends with.

02:33Gosh, I mean, Pamela Anderson is, what a beautiful performance she gave in her film.

02:38And we know each other.

02:41And so, like, you know, we'll be checking in with each other, seeing how the other person is doing.

02:46And so, I don't know.

02:48I'm grateful for the women I've been able to meet.

02:52And I really feel that, like, female camaraderie, which is very important to me.

02:57So, I'm lucky.

02:59I feel the love, you know?

03:02Yeah.

03:03Speaking of female camaraderie, you're on our cover today with the Actress Roundtable.

03:08And I loved reading just the intro about the dogs and how the dogs, everybody, you know,

03:12a couple of actresses brought their dogs.

03:14You were one of them.

03:15Did your dog make some new friends that day with Zendaya or Demi Moore?

03:20It was a difficult day for Strawberry Jam.

03:24It was, it's hard to be him sometimes.

03:26He was, he got a little overwhelmed and was, like, growling at Tilda at one point.

03:32And so, we had to just, my makeup artist was just holding him.

03:37He was very naughty that day.

03:39But everyone else's dogs were perfectly behaved.

03:42Just mine was the one who was not happy to be there.

03:46Yeah.

03:46So, is he banned now from sets?

03:49I'm going to keep trying because, selfishly, I want to bring him everywhere with me because

03:55he's so cute.

03:56But, lesson learned, he doesn't, he's very protective of me and doesn't like other people

04:01to approach me or touch me, which is kind of difficult to go through life like that.

04:06So, yeah.

04:07It's nice to be loved like that, though.

04:09It is, isn't it?

04:11Yeah.

04:12Do you have a little...

04:13I don't even have a plant.

04:16I got to get a cat.

04:19She doesn't get a cat.

04:20Hey, this has been such a big, you know, moment for you in your career.

04:25Are you reading scripts?

04:27Have you decided what to do next?

04:28Are you, like, is that, can you even wrap your head around that yet?

04:32A little bit.

04:33I'm excited for what might happen in the future because, like, I mean, making movies is my

04:40absolute dream.

04:42And so there have been some wonderful scripts I've read and I'm definitely excited.
