00:09Top Gun Maverick has soared past another box office milestone and made studio history.
00:14The film has officially surpassed the $600 million mark at the domestic box office,
00:19earning $601.9 million in North America.
00:22This makes the film Paramount Pictures' highest-earning movie at the domestic box office to date,
00:27surpassing Titanic's $600.7 million.
00:31The president and CEO of Paramount Pictures, Brian Robbins, said of the milestone,
00:35Top Gun Maverick is a phenomenal motion picture,
00:38and we take deep pride in celebrating this tremendous achievement alongside Tom Cruise,
00:42our filmmakers and cast, our marketing and distribution teams,
00:46and of course, all the new and original Top Gun fans, without whom this wouldn't have been possible.
00:51In addition to Cruise, the movie also stars Miles Teller, Glenn Powell, and Jennifer Connelly, among others.
