00:00Paramount packed plenty of Tom Cruise into its CinemaCon presentation Thursday, offering

00:04up a lengthy featurette of the latest Mission Impossible, as well as the first 13 minutes

00:09of Top Gun Maverick.

00:11First, the Mission Impossible featurette detailed what filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie called

00:15their most dangerous stunt ever.

00:17Cruise trained for a year to perfect the stunt, which featured him jumping a motorbike off

00:22a massive cliff into a remote valley.

00:24The featurette showed previews of the stunt and cameras, including one mounted on a drone.

00:28McQuarrie noted at the end,

00:30"...the only thing that scares me more is what we have planned for Mission 8."

00:34After, Paramount unveiled the first 13 minutes of Top Gun Maverick, as well as a new trailer.

00:39The opening captures the feel of filmmaker Tony Scott's 1986 original and features Cruise's

00:44Maverick working on a plane before donning his iconic leather jacket and jumping onto his

00:48motorcycle.

00:49The film also stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, John Hamm, Glenn Powell, Louis Pullman, Danny

00:55Ramirez, Monica Barbaro, Ed Harris, and Val Kilmer, who returns as Iceman.
