At the 'Ballerina' movie premiere, Keanu Reeves chats with THR on the carpet and talks about what it was like to see Ana de Armas step into character during her epic fight scenes. Plus, he dishes on expanding the world of 'John Wick' and why Ana de Armas was perfect for this role.

00:00How does it feel to pass the torch to another assassin, and why is Ana the right person for the job?

00:06Yeah, I mean, I think, I don't know if it's passing the torch, but I think definitely part of expanding the story and the world of John Wick

00:15and getting another chance to explore new characters.

00:21She's perfect for the role because she was a part of, you know, developing the script,

00:26and, you know, her, you know, she's really great at action, but also just emotionally, her talent, you know,

00:35the range that she's shown, and brave in her choices, and so I think that's what makes her, you know, great,

00:47is playing Eve in Ballerina. She brings all of what she brings, and, you know, and then telling the story.

00:53We've seen you do so many bad things in these, bad-ass things, I'm sorry, in these John Wick movies,

00:59but what do you think is the most bad-ass thing you saw Ana do while filming?

01:10I'm trying, I'm going through here to fight in my head.

01:13Act it out, show us.

01:14Yeah, yeah, the most bad-ass.

01:21It was cool, like, when we would go from training to then when we would start after they say action,

01:27and you get into it, to see her go into that next level, you know, where you really saw her joy for the action,

01:37and for filling action with her character, and then just seeing her, like...

01:43Oh, oh, oh!

01:46That's cool.

01:47I feel like I've just been John Wick'd.

01:49There's a little John Wick in there.

01:51I feel like there's such a little bit of a story.
