Noah Beck spoke to THR at The New Fame Creator A-List event about working on his craft as an actor, what sort of social media content he's consuming right now and who inspires him.
Transcript
00:00What's on your social feed right now? What kind of content are you consuming?
00:04That's so funny you say that. I am in, quite honestly, I'm in a bit of a culinary kick right now.
00:10I'm like fully on chef TikTok and I wouldn't want it any other way.
00:14Like I'm getting served quite literally like chef content and it's still always like rotating in there
00:25is like soccer content, fashion, and like movie reviews.
00:32And that is like, that basically sums me up right there. Yeah.
00:36Who's a creator whose content has been inspiring you lately?
00:40A creator whose content has been inspiring me? I feel like I gotta say,
00:48actually I don't know who to say.
00:50Uh, there's not, there's not like one person like popping to mind, but I feel like after that last answer,
00:56I gotta say like a chef that inspires me, not a creator, but someone that I just, I'm loving him.
01:04And he's honestly kind of got me in my culinary kick, even from not being with us anymore.
01:09But Anthony Bourdain, he is, uh, I've been reading his books, watching his show.
01:14And I think he is, I don't know, I just think he's a great human and I think like his stuff is so inspiring.
01:20Yeah.
01:21I love that.
01:22Now for you, you've really started transitioning into Hollywood.
01:26What's your advice for creators who want to move from just being a digital creator to a more traditional Hollywood path?
01:33Oof, what a tough question.
01:34I think, uh, the most important thing is like not one size fits all.
01:39And I think like we're living in such an interesting time where there is no traditional way to go about things anymore.
01:46And I think what works for me may not work for the next person and what works for them may not work for me.
01:53And I think it's that people just have to remember that.
01:58And I think, yeah, I don't know.
02:01It is tricky because I can only talk from my own experience and from my own experience, what's helped me is being really obsessive, um, with my craft and with like wanting to get to where I want to be.
02:16And I think there's been a little sacrifice of like balance in my life, which is honestly, I think we overpraise balance sometimes.
02:25And I think it's necessary to dive headfirst into something and really commit and just being a student.
02:32So like what you want to do and to life and just, yeah, really just if you're going to do it, do it.
02:38And so that's my, that's my message there.
02:40Yeah.
02:41Do you feel like Hollywood is embracing creators more now than they were maybe a couple years ago?
02:46I hope so.
02:47Cause having, um, having being one, like, or having to being one, I guess.
02:55And like myself, uh, as one, I would hope that we would, uh, there's a bit more acceptance, but honestly, it's like these titles are so funny.
03:06Cause it's just like, it's not like, if you're good at what you do, be undeniably good at it.
03:12Um, and doesn't, it shouldn't matter how you got there.
03:16Um, the important thing is that you're there and you just got to do with the best that you can with what you got.
03:23And like, yeah, I don't know.
03:25I don't know if that really answered that question, but it's something in that realm.
