00:00Marvel fans are mocking The Punisher One Last Kill on Disney Plus for its visual effects and audio
00:05issues. First, fans said the Disney Plus presentation was hurt by audio mixing issues,
00:11particularly low dialogue volume. One fan wrote on X,
00:14I'm so glad closed captions was available for this. Whoever approved the final sound mix
00:19should be fired. The dialogue is so down in the mix that it is unintelligible.
00:23Another posted, the sound issue definitely bugged me. They definitely must have uploaded
00:28the wrong version. The streamer has acknowledged the issue, replying to several fans on X on
00:32Wednesday. Thank you for reaching out and letting us know you're experiencing no audio while watching
00:37The Punisher One Last Kill. The good news is that our team knows about this particular issue and is
00:42working on a solution as we speak. Let us know if we can help with anything else. Viewers were also
00:46critical of a VFX moment that showed Jon Bernthal's character Frank Castle being pushed out of a
00:51building and falling on a silver crate, saying it resembled a video game cutscene.
00:58But a source close to the production tells The Hollywood Reporter that it is a real in-camera
01:03shot. Bernthal performed the beginning of the fall, and his stuntman took over for the impact
01:07shot. There is some VFX, however, as the stuntman's face was swapped for Bernthal's.
01:12Otherwise, critics and fans have praised the special that is now streaming on Disney+.
01:16One Last Kill has an 84% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 91% audience score.
01:21The special episode continues The Punisher's story following the 2017 The Punisher series,
01:26and the character appearing in the first season of Daredevil Born Again.
01:29The Punisher will next appear in Spider-Man Brand New Day.
