The first episode of Trevor Noah's new podcast just dropped and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is his first guest. The Spotify podcast 'What Now? with Trevor Noah' will feature all different types of guests, some considerably more famous than others. Noah tells The Hollywood Reporter he's as interested in booking scientists and CEOs as he is politicians, athletes and A-list stars, so long as they're interesting and timely.

00:15and Dwayne The Rock Johnson is his first guest.

00:42so long as they're interesting and timely.

00:44When Noah does have an A-list star on the show,

00:46he insists he won't just be focused on their next big project.

00:49Instead, he sees his new platform as a space where he can speak to his subjects

00:52for an extended period and really get to know them.

00:57Hopefully, you can get a deeper understanding of how they see the world,

01:01and maybe even talk about how they feel about how the world sees them.

01:21Maybe there's a reputation I should uphold.

01:25to him launching his fund following the Maui fires.

01:28It really tested my ability to separate noise from criticism

01:33that was really worthy of my attention, in this case.
