00:00The Rock was just one of the big name stars to drop some words of wisdom and inspiration

00:09during the MTV Movie and TV Awards on Monday night, where Avengers Endgame came out a top winner.

00:15Right now, I've got everything you need to know about the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards.

00:19The ceremony had a super host, Shazam himself, Zachary Levi. During his opening monologue,

00:24the actor made an awkward jab at Ray J, who received a nomination this year for Most Memeable Moment.

00:30Although I'm sure some of you are more familiar with his work as a cameraman.

00:33Yikes. The Rock himself, Dwayne Johnson, was presented with the Generation Award as a part of the special tribute,

00:39a group of dancers performed to We Will Rock You. He then gave a speech about the importance of staying true to yourself.

00:45I wasn't going to conform to Hollywood. Hollywood was going to conform to me.

00:49Meanwhile, the infamous Best Kiss Award went to our favorite on-screen ship,

00:53Lana Condor, and Noah Centineo of To All The Boys I've Loved Before.

00:56Centineo also took home the golden popcorn for breakthrough performance for playing Peter Kavinsky in the Netflix film.

01:02Plus, Bozzi and Lizzo graced the stage with crowd-pleasing performances, with the latter channeling Sister Act 2.

01:12A feeling of self-love and empowerment reigned supreme throughout the night.

01:16Jada Pinkett-Smith was honored with the Trailblazer Award, presented by her Girls Trip co-star Tiffany Haddish.

01:21Every single person in this room is trailblazing, whether it's within or without.

01:29Other notable trophies went to Sandra Bullock for most frightened performance in Bird Box,

01:33Brie Larson for best fight in Captain Marvel, and Elizabeth Moss for best performance in a show for The Handmaid's Tale.

01:39On a serious note, surviving R. Kelly won Best Documentary.

01:42Survivors took the stage to accept the award alongside the doc's producers,

01:45with some of them getting visibly emotional after receiving applause.

01:49Plus, Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr., was named Best Hero.

01:52And the night's biggest winner, Best Movie, went to none other than Avengers Endgame.

01:57Co-director Anthony Russo accepted the golden popcorn with Chris Hemsworth, a.k.a. Thor,

02:01and Downey Jr. sending in video messages to thank Marvel's devoted fans.

02:06We poured our heart and souls into this last film of Phase 3.

02:11More notable winners include Game of Thrones for best show,

02:14and Lady Gaga for best performance in a movie for playing Ally in A Star is Born.
