00:03than a spoof by The Simpsons?

00:05The extremely long-running Fox series released an animated short online Thursday,

00:09and it opens with quite the graphic depiction of press secretary Sean Spicer

00:13wearing a sign that reads,

00:15I quit, and actually hanging himself in the White House.

00:18Yikes.

00:18Kellyanne Conway, meanwhile, runs away while adding,

00:21I'm not replacing him.

00:23Wait a minute, if he actually quit,

00:24would that mean no more Melissa McCarthy press conferences on Saturday Night Live?

00:28Unacceptable, Simpsons.

00:30That was me as McCarthy as Spicer.

00:32Anyway, there's also an animated Trump in bed at the White House

00:35counting up accomplishments as president.

00:37Like lowering his golf handicap and increasing his Twitter following.

00:40And oh yeah, finally the truth behind his hair?

00:42The video wraps up with Marge and Homer Simpson watching the news on TV at home

00:46with Marge complaining that she's out of antidepressants.

00:49It's not necessarily meant to foreshadow,

00:51but The Simpsons, of course, has gotten some political predictions right in the past.

00:54A 2000 episode of the series joked about Lisa Simpson taking over in the Oval Office

00:59from none other than Donald Trump.

01:01And though there is no Lisa Simpson in office yet,

01:03again, guys, we emphasize yet,

01:06Trump has now become president.
