Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko chat with THR on the ballroom floor of 'Dancing With the Stars' and dish on having their first "fight" as a dance couple and how that made them better.

00:00How did you compare this week's performance from last week?
00:05Well, I'm much more pleased with our scores this week.
00:08I think we worked really hard in practice, and hopefully that showed on the dance floor.
00:12So I'm really happy with tonight's performance.
00:15Yeah, totally.
00:17I think Brooke did very well.
00:19Quick Step is not an easy dance.
00:20We've got a better score.
00:22And as a teacher, I'm so proud of her.
00:23I think she nailed every single step, and those steps that we really work hard on.
00:27And she did not miss one little bit.
00:31I was like, wow.
00:33She killed it.
00:34So good.
00:34Yay!
00:35And you said it was really easy with your chemistry on stage.
00:38It's really easy to show that to the audience.
00:40What about this partnership makes it so easy to connect like that?
00:45I don't think you can plan for something like that.
00:47It's just either there or not.
00:49You know what I mean?
00:49Like connecting with people and friends and colleagues, coworkers, whatever.
00:53And we happen to have that, which is like such a bonus, because we don't have to fake anything.
00:58Oscars night, we didn't have to act.
01:00How amazing is that?
01:03And I'm wondering, I mean, it seems like it's been so fun between you two.
01:07I'm wondering, have you guys ever had like a spat between each other with like rehearsing?
01:13A what?
01:14A fight.
01:15A fight.
01:15We have actually had a fight.
01:16We did, yeah.
01:17At the very beginning, we had an actual real fight between one another.
01:21And then, you know what?
01:22I will say this.
01:23We had a fight, and I was really annoyed, and he was annoyed, and blah, blah, blah.
01:28And then we made up, and it was even better.
01:30The dancing was better.
01:31The partnership was better.
01:33And it was like, it was amazing that we had a fight, actually.
01:36It helped.
01:37It really did, weirdly.
01:38And it was a real fight.
01:39She's such a hot woman.
01:40You're a Hollywood reporter.
01:42No, and then we did have a double elimination this week.
01:46I want to know, what was going through both of your minds, I mean, while you were waiting
01:50for your name to be called?
01:52Damn.
01:53It was like, I hate those moments, because you just stand there, and you never know who's
01:58going to go home.
01:58And like, when they don't call your name, and you're still there on the floor.
02:01Yeah, it's scary, actually.
02:02You're like, okay.
02:03You're looking back and thinking like, oh, there are only three couples left.
02:06Like, you know, so.
02:08Yeah, it was, I was petrified.
02:09I mean, no one's safe.
02:12Just got to keep working hard.
