Transcript
00:00Emma Stone is admitting that her taste in movies as a child were pretty different than most her
00:11age, saying one of her favorite and most quotable movies at just eight years old was the R-rated hit
00:17Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. It all started when the actress stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live
00:21to discuss her latest high-profile project, Disney's Cruella, which tells the origin story
00:26of one of Disney's most notorious villains. When asked what her favorite films were growing
00:31up, the actress admitted she was influenced by her father's taste in movies, which was
00:35a lot of 70s and 80s comedies featuring Steve Martin, including the 1987 holiday classic
00:41starring the actor and the late beloved John Candy. In fact, Emma admitted that she knows
00:46the film so well she could even quote the film's notable foul-mouthed scene word for word.
00:51Oh, that's got to be beautiful to hear out of an eight-year-old's mouth.
00:54The memorable scene involved Martin's character going off on a marathon car rental agent when
00:59his car is not on the lot. The moment is one minute long and contains 18 F-bombs.
01:04You can start by wiping that f***ing dumb-ass smile off your rosy f***ing cheeks.
01:12The moment is also the sole reason the film is rated R. Well, Kimmel put the actress to
01:16the test and she went right into her best Neil Page.
01:19And then you can give me a f***ing automobile, a f***ing Datsun, a f***ing Toyota, a f***ing
01:25Mustang, a f***ing Buick, four f***ing wheels and a seat.
01:28And it didn't stop there.
01:30To f***ing walk down a f***ing highway and across a f***ing runway to get back here and
01:38have you smile in my f***ing face.
01:40The impression earned her cheers and praise from Kimmel who quipped, you should do more of this acting stuff.
01:45Elsewhere, the actress also discussed her love for Martin growing up and noted that although
01:50she has met the actor in person, she's kept her fangirling to a minimum.
01:53I try to play it cool whenever I've met him.
01:56Like, what's your name, Steve?
01:58Oh, it's nice to see you.
