00:22place. Disney is planning to shoot the feature next year. Lim said in a statement,

00:32third iteration of this beloved franchise to life. We look forward to celebrating its core
00:37tenets of female power, joy, and mentorship with audiences worldwide. Gary Marshall directed the
00:42original film, which adapted the book of the same name. It told the story of a teenage girl who
00:47discovers she is the heir to the throne of a European nation named Genovia. Julie Andrews
00:52played Mia's grandmother, the Queen of Genovia, in the movie. Back in April, Hathaway gave
00:57an update on The Princess Diaries 3 during an interview with V Magazine. She said,
