00:06despite all of the rave reviews for the show and the fact that her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short did receive accolades.

00:13Steve shared a statement with the New York Times and said,

00:15We are thrilled at the nominations, not only for us, but for the show.

00:20We're dismayed that Selena was not nominated because she is so crucial to our performances.

00:25Now, Selena did, however, now have a nomination as the series executive producer,

00:29which made the singer the second Latina to ever be nominated for producing a comedy series in the 74-year Emmy history,

00:37with Salma Hayek being the first.
