00:00Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle stopped by The View on Thursday and the show essentially melted down.
00:13Not only did the hosts and guests keep talking over each other, but the audience was also unruly.
00:18Co-host Whoopi Goldberg attempted to control the crowd during the show.
00:30Stop yourself!
00:32But that's not all. The Hollywood Reporter was in the audience for the taping and Goldberg also had some words for the crowd during the commercial break saying,
00:45Booing is a no-no for members of the show's audience, but the crowd on Thursday alternatively booed and cheered as Trump and Guilfoyle clashed with members of the panel,
00:52including Joy Behar, Abby Huntsman, Sonny Hostin and Meghan McCain.
00:56The interview started off combatively with Huntsman taking Trump Jr. to task for retweeting an article exposing the name of the Ukraine whistleblower.
01:03It's different when the president's son does it, though, isn't it?
01:06Why? I mean, I'm a private citizen putting this out there. If everyone in this room could have read this, I don't see any difference whatsoever.
01:13McCain also questioned Trump Jr. about his family's character, resulting in a heated back and forth between them.
01:19But when you're talking about attacking Gold Star families who have given the ultimate sacrifice more than any of them in this room have given, and you put them through pain, does it make you feel like this was worth it?
01:29And I know he does a lot with Gold Star families.
01:30As the show progressed, the audience didn't listen to Goldberg's no booing warning. So a warm-up comedian tried again during a later commercial break, telling the crowd,
01:38no booing, no yelling out, no booing everybody. The guests also kept talking over each other during the show.
01:44Excuse me. Thank you. The cross-talking is making everyone crazy. When I hit the bell is to keep y'all from cross-talking. Please stop.
01:53I'm new here. Sorry.
01:54That's all right.
01:55When Goldberg finally told the audience that the Trump-Guilfoyles segment was ending, a man in the audience yelled out, praise the Lord.
