00:30Kathy Bates, Kristen Milioti, Helen Mirren, Niecy Nash-Betz, Parker Posey, and Keri Russell.

00:37I didn't grow up desperate to be an actress, I'm still not sure I want to be,

00:42but I really love my job right now, I love my job right now.

00:46During the sit-down moderated by THR's Mikey O'Connell,

00:49the six actresses spoke about everything from the state of television today,

00:53There is imagination here, and there are great writers.

00:56So why aren't the decisions being made for more humor and humanity and story,

01:03and to make it an event again?

01:05With White Lotus, people were like, oh my god, we watch it every week,

01:08and they were just so excited for the cooler water cooler talk.

01:14Dealing with misogyny in the industry.

01:16And maybe this is just like in the culture at large,

01:18such a celebration of men who are like, really go for it.

01:22Yeah.

01:22And like, are like, they did a crazy thing to everyone,

01:26and everyone's like, wow, they must take this so seriously.

01:29And I've like, witnessed some of that,

01:32but more just like heard about it more,

01:33and have thought that like, if I ever did that,

01:36it would not end well.

01:38And like, that's, that still happens.

01:41And even living a long life and making the most of it.

01:44I'm old.

01:45You know, I didn't die young.

01:48And the terrible tragedy of,

01:50and the reason that I want to live as long as I possibly can,

01:54and continue working as long as I possibly can,

01:57exactly what Kerry says, the adventure of it.

01:59The amazing, wonderful revelations and adventure of life,

02:04and, and indeed of work, is fantastic.

02:07And sticking around until you get there.
