00:03You know, when this video went viral, I was like, people just need to see people touch.

00:07Jessica Chastain is opening up about that viral red carpet moment with Oscar Isaac.

00:12While attending the premiere of their upcoming HBO miniseries,

00:15Scenes from a Marriage at the Venice International Film Festival over the weekend,

00:18the co-stars shared a sweet moment on the red carpet that quickly went viral.

00:23In a slow motion video, Isaac can be seen looking at Chastain and kissing her inner arm,

00:27resulting in an internet fixation on the moment.

00:30The viral clip even prompted a response from Mindy Kaling, who quipped to Chastain,

00:34why is Oscar Isaac the only person allowed to kiss your inner arm?

00:38After the video went viral, Chastain seemingly poked fun at the moment,

00:41posting a picture on Monday of Gomez Adams similarly kissing his wife Morticia on the arm

00:46in an episode of The Addams Family.

00:48Chastain further addressed the video and her friendship with Isaac

00:51during an appearance on NBC's Today Show.

00:54Oscar and I have been friends, we went to college together,

00:56so we've been friends more than half of our lives.

00:58The actress did, however, clarify the video, saying,

01:00let me just say, though, this is a slow motion video,

01:03and everybody is super sexy in slow motion,

01:06and said the moment played out differently in regular speed.

01:09I'm looking straight ahead, and he looks over at me,

01:11and he just kind of goes to give me a peck on my elbow,

01:14and at the same time, I'm going to give him a hug.

01:16So all of a sudden, his face ends up in my arm.

01:18It's so dashed.

01:19It's almost like he's sniffing you.

01:20Though they were close on the red carpet,

01:22Jessica Chastain and Isaac's on-screen counterparts

01:24in Scenes from a Marriage will be more distant,

01:27with the two portraying a couple whose marriage slowly unravels.
