00:20visitors and interacted with them a quadrupedal robot imported from China with its ability to

00:26move jump and trot the G02 offered an unforgettable spectacle a local university student was left in

00:34oh this is my first time interacting with a robot face-to-face and honestly I am so proud to see

00:42that Burkina Faso is capable of creating such innovations I even gave the robot a hug it can

00:48interact with us in such an amazing way I am truly amazed another key attraction was the journey to

00:55the future on the final day of the Wagadogo International ICT and office equipment

01:37the public policy and development goals we are focused on developing AI that reflects our identity

01:46aligns with our priorities and is adapted to our unique realities this AI will be a powerful ally in driving

01:53significant progress and in our pursuit of digital sovereignty we are determined to chart our own

01:59cause the introduction of robots and AI at this 20th digital week marks a significant first step in

02:07showing that these technologies are not only accessible but can become an integral part of daily life for

02:14Burkina based citizens in the 21st century the aim is to train local expertise and develop AI tools that

02:22integrate across all sectors that is health care education agriculture and more we want to create AI that

02:30is homegrown tailored to Burkina Faso and build the infrastructure to support it Burkina Faso's commitment to

02:38the technological progress was further underscored when the country won the prestigious gold medal in

02:44the jury prize at the first global robotics challenge 2025 a team of four young Burkina Bay from a

02:51technology and robotics training center took home the top prize
