'The Sex Lives of College Girls' is saying goodbye to one of its suite mates. Reneé Rapp will be exiting the series during its upcoming third season.

00:00The Sex Lives of College Girls is saying goodbye to one of its suitemates.
00:05Renee Rapp will be exiting the series during its upcoming third season.
00:09The actress and recording artist will appear in a handful of season three episodes,
00:13but as a reoccurring guest star rather than a series regular.
00:16This will undoubtedly set up her character Leighton Murray's departure from Essex College.
00:20The show's second season ended with Leighton coming out to her dad and quitting her sorority,
00:25while her roommates dealt with issues of their own.
00:27Outside of Sex Lives, Rapp played Regina George in the Mean Girls musical on Broadway
00:32and reprises the role in the upcoming film version, which began production in the spring.
00:36She's also signed to Interscope Records and released a debut EP, Everything to Everyone, last year.
00:43Her first full-length album, Snow Angel, is set for release in August.
00:47Max renewed the Sex Lives of College Girls for a third season back in December.
00:51The series, created by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, also stars Pauline Chalamet,
00:55Amrith Kar, and Aaliyah Chanel Scott.
00:58Kaling also addressed Rapp's departure on Instagram, writing,
