00:00No surprise, Netflix content chief Ted Sarandos says viewing is up for the streaming service amid
00:05the coronavirus pandemic. But will production shutdowns affect its ability to deliver new
00:10content? The executive joined anchor Brian Stelter on CNN's Reliable Sources on Sunday
00:14and said that while the novel coronavirus has caused a, quote,
00:17massive disruption for production, he doesn't see any issues in delivering Netflix content
00:22over the next few months. Sarandos explained,
00:24We work pretty far ahead. You know, we deliver all of our shows with all episodes at once.
00:29So we don't see any disruption in our output over the next few months. You know, maybe later in the
00:34year, if this progresses long, you'll start feeling some of that as the physical production is not
00:38operating. As for new content set to drop soon, the third season of Ozark hits Netflix on Friday,
00:43March 27th. I want you to admit something. I want you to admit this is all about you and has nothing
00:50to do with what is best for us. Sarandos told Stelter that viewing is up for Netflix and added
00:55that TV ratings were rising as well. He said,
00:58We're proud to be part of that, which is trying to make that stay home experience a little more
01:02bearable for folks, a little more enjoyable even, making us feel a little less isolated while we
01:07are being physically isolated. For more on this story, head to THR.com. For The Hollywood Reporter
