00:00Here are today's top stories. First, a scripted drama series about Hillary Clinton could be coming
00:04to Hulu. The streamer is teaming up with The Affair co-creator Sarah Treem to adapt Curtis
00:09Sittenfeld's best-selling fictional novel Rodham as a scripted drama series. The potential series
00:14is currently in the development stage. Published in May, Rodham imagines an alternative history
00:19where Hillary Rodham never marries Bill Clinton and asks what would have happened to her life in
00:23our country if she had made a different choice. Next, actress Anna Camp is opening up about
00:27testing positive for and battling the novel coronavirus, revealing she was extremely sick
00:32for over three weeks and still has lingering symptoms. THR's Neha Joy has more. Alongside a
00:38photo of her wearing a mask, she wrote,
00:40I was incredibly safe. I wore a mask. I used hand sanitizer. One time, when the world was starting
00:46to open up, I decided to forego wearing my mask. One time, and I ended up getting it. She went on
00:52to explain that though people believe that having COVID-19 is like having the flu, she begs to differ.
00:57She emphasized,
00:58I'm lucky because I didn't die, but people are. Please wear your mask. It can happen any time,
01:03and it can happen to anyone.
01:04Warner Bros. Tenet, directed by Christopher Nolan, is the first movie to announce it will pursue a
01:09radical departure from tradition that could become the new box office normal amid the coronavirus
01:14pandemic. On July 20th, the film's August 12th release was delayed due to a surge in COVID-19 cases
01:20in such states as California, Florida, and Texas. But the more significant announcement was Warner
01:25Bros. saying it will ignore the modern-day distribution playbook for tentpole films
01:29and launch Tenet on a staggered basis. Studio Insider said the espionage epic will go out
01:34first overseas, where cinemas have reopened in many European and Asian countries and have begun
01:40to reopen in China. Warner Bros. isn't giving exact dates yet, but sources elsewhere say the $200
01:45million movie hopes to begin opening in international markets in late August, before arriving in the U.S.
01:50first part of September, even if only in select cities. However, they stress the situation is fluid.
