00:18from Glee co-creators Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. This marks Murphy and Falchuk's

00:23second show at Netflix and joins One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, prequel Raptured,

00:27starring Sarah Paulson. The Politician revolves around Platt's Payton, a wealthy

00:31Santa Barbara resident. Each season will focus on a different political race that

00:35involves Payton. Platt is expected to have musical numbers in the show and production

00:38is expected to start in the late summer. This is Paltrow's latest collaboration with

00:42Murphy and Falchuk, to whom the actress is engaged. Paltrow won an Emmy for her guest

00:46appearance on Glee. The Politician joins a long list of Murphy's scripted originals

00:50that also include Fox's recently renewed drama 9-1-1, FX anthologies American Horror Story,

00:56American Crime Story and Feud, plus ongoing drama Pose and Netflix's Ratched.
