00:00Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese is bringing his talents to Fox News Channel's
00:04streaming service, Fox Nation. The acclaimed filmmaker will host, narrate, and executive
00:09produce an eight-episode docudrama called Martin Scorsese Presents The Saints. The series will
00:14debut on November 16, 2024 and run through May 2025. Each episode will focus on a singular saint
00:20and to look at, per Fox, these extraordinary figures and their extreme acts of kindness,
00:25selflessness, and sacrifice. Scorsese said in a statement, I've lived with the stories of the
00:30saints for most of my life, thinking about their words and actions, imagining the worlds they
00:35inhabited, the choices they faced, the examples they set. He continued, these are stories of eight
00:39very different men and women, each of them living through vastly different periods of history and
00:44struggling to follow the way of love revealed to them and to us by Jesus's words in the Gospels.
00:49I'm so excited that this project is underway and that I'm working with so many trusted and talented
00:53collaborators. Fox Nation has been leaning on Hollywood talent in recent months, with Kevin
00:58Costner, Rob Lowe, and Kelsey Grammer all signing on for new shows. As for Scorsese, the filmmaker is
01:04also planning a new movie about Jesus, which is set to film later this year. For more on this story
