Alan Ruck pitches his idea for a 'Succession' spinoff at the Emmy Awards and says in his stacked category, Vegas has him as a 7-1 shot.
Transcript
00:00Succession had a huge night at the Golden Globes and at the Critics' Choice Awards.
00:04Are you feeling those good vibes going into the Emmys? Do you feel like you're on a roll?
00:08Well, yeah, I mean, who could say what's going to happen?
00:11But yeah, I feel very good about everything, and I'm so pleased that my family has been winning awards, you know?
00:18So, yeah, yeah. Nothing but good vibes, yeah.
00:21If you had to pitch a spin-off for your character...
00:24My character?
00:25...to Jesse Armstrong, what's the pitch?
00:28I think Justine Loop and I would do a remake of Green Acres, you know, where we move to the country.
00:35Well, I'd make her move to the country, and we'd be pig farmers, and we'd see how long...
00:40It would last one season, or maybe like two episodes, but anyway, yeah.
00:44It could be a movie, a limited series.
00:46Yeah, limited. Very limited series.
00:49Amazing. And in your category tonight, it is stacked between the Succession guys and the White Lotus guys.
00:55Do you have any fighting words for the White Lotus guys from Team Succession?
00:59Fighting words? Oh, no, I don't want to kick that off. I don't want to go there.
01:03No, no, no, no. Love, love, love. That's all I got.
01:06But of course, with all the guys from your show, is there any sort of bet going?
01:09Whoever wins has to buy the others dinner or anything like that?
01:12That's... We're going to... I'm going to take that, and I'm going to go talk to them right now.
01:15I know that in Vegas, I'm a 7-1 shot, so I don't know. Maybe we should compare odds.
