00:18We went out to dinner last night to celebrate and discuss how we can create a Lex

00:21that will be different from anything you've seen before and will never forget.

00:25But James, we heard this weeks ago. Why didn't you tell us it was true?

00:27Because although we were discussing it, it wasn't final until a couple days ago.

00:31And I don't want to tell you all something that isn't certain.

00:34News broke in November that Holt was in talks to portray the classic villain in Gunn's upcoming Superman movie.

00:39The great actor was also one of the finalists to play Superman in the film,

00:43but the title role eventually went to David Cornswept.

00:46Meanwhile, Rachel Brosnahan will portray Lois Lane.

00:48Superman Legacy is expected to hit theaters July 11, 2025.
