Transcript
00:00Congratulations on this film.
00:03It's the final installment of the Guardians franchise.
00:06What are you going to miss the most about these movies?
00:08Oh my god, I'm going to miss him. I just want to hug him right now, James Gunn.
00:12But he's doing an interview right now. I can't hug him.
00:15No, but we're going to work together again.
00:17I feel so grateful to have worked with James Gunn, with the whole cast.
00:21They're so kind, such great people, so professional, and they're so unique.
00:26The characters that we brought to life are so different, and interesting, and layered.
00:32And the movie is heartbreaking, and beautiful, and funny, and action-packed.
00:38It's just incredible. I feel very grateful.
00:41And you say you and James are going to work together again.
00:44If he asked you to hop over to DC, would you be interested?
00:47Yeah, of course. We've been talking about it.
00:52And fans love Mantis so much. I love Mantis.
00:55What do you hope that Mantis' legacy in the MCU is?
01:00I mean, I love Mantis because she's weird.
01:04So I think it's great to show that, especially for a female character, to be weird,
01:10and to bring some comedy and some light, and to be an empath.
01:15I think it's beautiful, and a lot of people lack empathy.
01:18So it's beautiful to show that in a movie as well.
01:21And you guys have been on these films for over 10 years.
01:24What was that last day on set like for you guys?
01:26Oh, my God. It was so emotional. There was two scenes.
01:30There was one where we were running together, and we were like, oh, my God.
01:36It's the last time that maybe we shoot together as the Guardians.
01:40And there was another scene where we sat in a circle, and it felt like something was ending in some way.
01:49So we were like, oh, kind of like crying, you know?
01:52But it was beautiful, you know?
01:53It's beautiful to be able to have these feelings, you know?
01:55In Hollywood, it's not always the case, I would tell you, you know?
01:58Yeah.
01:59It was really beautiful, but I used to be like, oh, my God's right, but yeah,
