We're getting a closer look at the cast of 'Superman: Legacy.' Director and DC studio co head James Gunn shared the first cast photo for the upcoming DC superhero pic. The pic, shared to Instagram followed the first table read for the film which is set to hit theaters July 11, 2025.

00:15following their first table read for the film, which is set to hit theaters July 11th, 2025.
00:20The pic includes himself and co-chair Peter Safran and cast members including David Cornswett playing the new Man of Steel,
00:27Rachel Brosnahan playing Lois Lane, and Nicholas Holt sporting a shaved head to play Lex Luthor.
00:33Gunn shouted out each cast member and who they're playing while revealing it's the first time they're all together.
00:38One big name not pictured is Millie Alcock, who's set to star as the title hero for the feature Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow.
00:45The Hollywood Reporter reported last month that Supergirl is likely to pop up in at least one DC Studios project prior to leading her own film,
00:53but it was unclear at the time if that would be Superman Legacy.
00:56In December, Gunn posted a photo of himself and Holt breaking bread in honor of the actor joining the film.
