00:00Good morning.
00:05This is June Farms.
00:10When you come to June Farms, it feels like all of your problems in your everyday life.
00:14They just sort of float away.
00:17The farm is a little slice of heaven in the Hudson Valley.
00:20And we are the premier events destination of upstate New York.
00:24We're a wedding business.
00:26We have a hotel business.
00:29We have a bar. We have a restaurant.
00:32We have countless animals that people just show up to see
00:35and walk around and have a beer and experience happiness and pure joy.
00:39We have Poppy here.
00:41Butters here.
00:42Billy's driving the vehicle.
00:44And then we have Crumb Fresh.
00:46They're very sweet.
00:48We always give incredible service to our guests.
00:51We throw all kinds of events on the farm,
00:53but the weddings are definitely the most profitable and exciting.
00:58By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife.
01:01You may now kiss the bride.
01:04As peaceful and calm and beautiful as June Farms is,
01:08it's not the easiest business to run.
01:10They do know there's a wedding, right, in like five minutes?
01:12Yeah.
01:13Her dress isn't even on yet.
01:14Where's the music?
01:15Why is it not working?
01:16You guys are impressing at the moment.
01:18The bus is stuck.
01:19Do you have any cars that could come over and pick us up?
01:21Would you get in the back of my pickup truck?
01:23Yeah, we've got 40 girls up.
01:24The rain has started.
01:26Is this real life right now?
01:27I hate these little long lanterns.
01:29Oh my God, I'm going to pass out.
01:35In the Hudson Valley, wedding season goes from May to October.
01:39I want my staff trained and to be June Farms ready for anything.
01:44Everyone has to do their job correctly, otherwise it all falls apart.
01:47I feel a lot of pressure that every event that we have is an absolute success,
01:51because if it isn't, I'm running the risk of the farm not working out
01:55and me losing literally every single cent that I had.
01:58Hi, Mary. Give me some love.
02:12My name is Matt Baumgartner, and I'm the owner of June Farms.
02:17I grew up in Utica, New York, and then moved to the Hudson Valley.
02:20And as kids, we all grew up outside in the woods playing and working.
02:25At a really young age, I ended up going into the restaurant and bar business.
02:29I went into hospitality because I knew that I would be good at it.
02:33I really care about the details. I care about music, lighting.
02:36I worked really hard and ended up building a restaurant empire in New York.
02:41In 2017, I made a decision that I would sell all of my 15 bars and restaurants
02:46and buy land to build my ultimate dream, a place called June Farms.
02:51June Farms feels like the culmination of all of my past businesses.
02:55It embodies everything that I have learned and everything that I feel like I have failed from that has brought me to this point.
03:01Hey, everybody. Welcome back for the start of a new season.
03:06This whole season is packed with weddings, events, birthday parties, baby showers.
03:11It feels like this is the first season that June Farms is at a level that big corporations, like important guests,
03:16want to have all of their parties here, all of their weddings.
03:19So that's exciting for all of us. The farm looks beautiful.
03:22And service-wise, I just want to keep growing and keep giving these people like a better and better experience every single time.
03:27If they're giving out Michelin stars for farms, I'd like three of them.
03:31Watching Matt come from the businesses he owned before to what he has done now, it's super inspiring.
03:37Some other fun things, we had a calf give birth yesterday.
03:40I see that as a really good sign of good luck for the season.
03:43I have a lot of respect for Matt for many different reasons.
03:46He is a leader. He is a strong businessman.
03:50This is my third season working for him, but his name has been in my ear for years on end.
03:55So tonight we have dueling pianos. It's sold out. That's great.
03:59We have wine and swine. So there is going to be Jen down with the pigs giving out wine.
04:03Tomorrow we have dog park night.
04:06In addition to June Farms being a weekend wedding space, we also operate as a full, busy public space.
04:13Friday night is also the Albany Symphony fundraiser that's also open to the public.
04:17Something in my brain doesn't stop me from booking like five huge events every single week.
04:23It's just chaos.
04:25I'd like to ask a favor.
04:27I'd like to not be asked if I can do a shot all the time, because I will.
04:34I should just be looking at Leighton. I don't even know why I'm looking anywhere else.
04:38I'm just embracing team bonding, but I'll stop.
04:41Matt is a good listener, awesome farmer, great coworker,
04:45because he's always right there in the weeds with us.
04:48A flirt.
04:53Sorry, it's just there's a lot of random noises that will be happening here.
04:58I'd like to talk about the weddings that we have coming up.
05:00We have one this weekend that is pretty epic, beautiful couple named Safiya and Justin.
05:05Okay, so this bride was working at a restaurant when Justin walks in.
05:10She clocks out to go talk to him.
05:12And before you know it, they move in together.
05:14And then the rest is history.
05:16And then because he proposed in the woods, they have chosen to transform the middle of the woods into their own ceremony site.
05:24It's going to be an enchanted forest theme.
05:26To make that happen, we are going to build a brand new wedding site in the woods.
05:31But it needs like a ton of work.
05:33We have to clear the ferns.
05:34We have to build a platform.
05:36We're going to have tiki torches, beautiful lanterns positioned on tree stumps.
05:41It has to feel elegant and magical.
05:43So we have a lot of work to do.
05:46I really want this whole season to just be exceptional.
05:49Giving these guests like the time of their life and the experience of their life.
05:53It's a train that I'm on and I really want to do it with you guys.
05:58Aw.
06:01Thank you guys.
06:20What time are the cleaners coming?
06:21I'm the cleaner.
06:22Oh, you're the cleaner.
06:23Yeah.
06:24Siobhan has the lodge and your loft and Johanna has the Airstream, the Hobbit, and Kevin won.
06:28So I'm cleaning today.
06:29Our lodging is a mixture of high-end architectural details and playfulness.
06:37We have these new wellness huts opening up.
06:39Trying to get all the wellness huts done in the same week that we're trying to build a new ceremony site has been problematic.
06:44Everyone that works at the farm is, like, at a 10 with the stress level.
06:48I see the sort of, like, I see you shaking, so I'm worried that you're taking on too much.
06:52No, I'm not.
06:53Michelle, she's in charge of guest hospitality.
06:55I've known her for 20-plus years.
06:57She used to help me mop the floors at my first restaurant so that I could get out earlier and go drink with her.
07:02We have to have a wellness experience menu for them.
07:04When they're here, it's like, oh, wow, they have massages and IV drips and Michelle's doing hair and makeup.
07:10It would be great if June Farms ultimately succeeds in the highest level because it would mean that I did it with my friends.
07:15What are we giving them as a sort of, like, welcome to the wellness huts?
07:19A welcome note and eggs or a bottle of wine?
07:21Do you know me?
07:22So should we do wine?
07:23Yes.
07:24Let's do wine.
07:25Okay.
07:26I hope that the new wellness huts are very popular because I like to recoup some of my investment at this farm, so we have a lot to get done.
07:33Is that a twist-off?
07:34No, but we have wine openers.
07:35We do here.
07:36Okay.
07:40You going back?
07:46Yep, there you go.
07:47Boom.
07:48All right, I'm gonna run up.
07:49You need anything?
07:50Get out of here.
07:51Oh.
07:52Until next time.
07:53Bye.
07:54Wait, Tom, I need more olives.
07:56Olives?
07:57Yeah.
07:58All right.
07:59Got you, boo-boo.
08:00I'm only having him do one of each wine tonight.
08:01Okay.
08:02For red.
08:03I'm having everyone on a shift be the lead bartender.
08:05Okay.
08:06So that they're responsible for the cash.
08:08No.
08:09Not me.
08:10Is that Ellie?
08:11Dun, dun, dun, dun.
08:14Then Jill.
08:15Jill looks good still.
08:16We got that nice kiss, sun-kissed skin and stuff.
08:19A little smile.
08:21She looks...
08:22A little snarky.
08:23She looks good.
08:24I'm definitely crushing on Jill.
08:26Last summer, we kissed, and my head was just fireworks going off.
08:29I was kind of like cloud nine.
08:31Oh, I just get butterflies.
08:32Bro, you're blushing right now.
08:34What the fuck?
08:35I get nervous talking about it.
08:36I get a little sweaty, too, bro.
08:38Dude, this town's too far back.
08:40It's flooding!
08:42Normally, our weddings are on Saturdays and Sundays.
08:45So during the week, we're usually bartending and setting up for the big events.
08:48What would you like to drink?
08:49Can I introduce you an hour before?
08:51Yeah, I can't.
08:52You didn't tell me that it's actually rain coming down.
08:56When people ask me to describe our friendship, like, I can't even put it into words.
09:01I would say fun.
09:02Yeah, that's a good note.
09:03I would say absolutely fun.
09:05I want to go on the quad right now.
09:08I know.
09:09I don't want to work at all.
09:10Neither do I.
09:11We go way...
09:13Yeah, way back.
09:14I got to do some math in my brain.
09:16To sixth grade.
09:17So that's 13 years.
09:18Oh, my God.
09:20Oh!
09:21You got me, bro?
09:23Jill!
09:24You got it.
09:25You got me?
09:26Yeah, I got you.
09:27The tattoo on the back of my arm, every flower represents a special woman in my life.
09:31And Jill is one of them.
09:32She's the sunflower.
09:33Can I go faster?
09:35Anybody want a drink?
09:36Oh, Dee's coming.
09:37To be paid to be here and be in a beautiful place and also do it.
09:40With, like, my best friend.
09:42It's nuts.
09:43Can't be good to do this.
09:44Ellie got me the job here.
09:45Thanks, Ellie.
09:48What, do we have to take out the trash, too?
09:50What the hell?
09:52What, do I have to finish off this bottle of Prosecco because we opened it?
09:55What the hell?
09:56I think so.
09:57Twist my arm.
10:06Look how cute they are.
10:08Hi!
10:09Hello!
10:10How are you?
10:11How are you?
10:12How are you doing?
10:13How are you doing?
10:14Hello!
10:15Hey, so you like how I did that?
10:16Yeah, it's raining and it's like all of a sudden the sun comes out.
10:18Happy wedding week.
10:19I'm freaking out.
10:20I'm so excited.
10:21Do we have to talk in here first or are we going right to the site?
10:22We can go right down here.
10:23I'm ready.
10:24Okay, all right, cool.
10:25We're good.
10:26All right, follow me.
10:27You know where Josh is meeting us?
10:28I think he might be down there right now.
10:30Josh is the June Farms General Farm Manager.
10:33He's phenomenal at projects.
10:35He's phenomenal at taking direction and implementing things at the farm really well the way that I want it to be done.
10:40He's kind of like the jack of all trades at the farm.
10:43So I rely on him for so much stuff.
10:46All right, you guys coming down?
10:49Are you down at the ceremony site?
10:51I am.
10:52Yeah, yeah, the wedding couple's here.
10:53We're going to hop in a car.
10:54I'll be right down.
10:55Perfect.
10:56Okay.
10:57Yep.
11:04I love seeing the sunshine through all the openings in the tree.
11:07It's so pretty.
11:08Oh, my gosh.
11:09A little bit of a construction site, so...
11:11Yeah, you guys might want to hang out back there.
11:14Because of the mud?
11:16Yeah, it's pretty muddy from the rain.
11:19Okay, why don't you guys step over here?
11:21I'm going to sort of talk you through what the plan is.
11:23So we have a bunch of logs being cut tomorrow.
11:25We started over there that are going to be kind of, like, accented with some beautiful lanterns and white candles.
11:30We have these really gorgeous lanterns that will be placed around the ceremony site with real candles.
11:35We have all the wood chips going down to be walkable and clean and create a nice, like, you know, pretty look, I guess.
11:44If you want to see what it looks like, wood chips.
11:47Where we have other wood chips that have been down.
11:49Yeah, we have multiple places, including, like, the playground.
11:52I mean, I can read the expression on your face.
12:01Yeah.
12:02Trust me, it's in my brain.
12:03Yeah, freaking out a little bit.
12:05I cannot believe I'm showing this beautiful bride a dirty mud pit.
12:10I would describe the look on her face as horror.
12:14Plan on everything being done tomorrow.
12:16Yeah.
12:17The good thing is that we'll see it on Friday.
12:18Okay.
12:19So you'll see what the wood chips feel like.
12:20We can assess it then.
12:22I think I'm just concerned about this weather now and with the rain coming up and wood chips and an ivory dress.
12:28Right.
12:29A little bit of a concern there.
12:30Have you thought about something you might want to see on the ground that would be sort of a solution to that?
12:34Yeah, maybe, like, a runner at least.
12:37You know, I think she's thinking I'm supposed to, like, build some marble floor and it's like, I'm not doing that.
12:42So wood chips are really the only option that we use at the farm that I think will look appropriate for an enchanted forest wedding.
12:49Just to clarify again, for the lights with trees, what did you say that's going to be?
12:52We have little lanterns with candles.
12:55What do you think?
12:58I feel like string lights could have been really pretty as well.
13:03I do want to give them what they want.
13:08But in my opinion, putting string lights all in the enchanted forest will look tacky.
13:15One of the things that I like actually about being in control of the weddings at the farm is that I can try to steer her away from that.
13:22I only thought the candles would look prettier just because it feels like the star of the show is you and the forest.
13:29Okay.
13:30Sorry, Justin.
13:31The woods, like, this is like a very important thing for us.
13:35Like, Justin proposed to me in the woods.
13:37And keep in mind, once you have all the flowers and the roses and the candles and the white from everything, it's going to be really, really pretty.
13:45I'm so stressed.
13:46I am also so stressed.
13:48I'm just worried she's going to be like, we trusted you.
13:51You told me, Papa.
13:52And I don't like that feeling.
13:53I just always want to, like, deliver.
13:54I look forward to showing you what we will have on Friday.
13:57I look forward to seeing it finished.
13:59All right.
14:00That made me nervous.
14:01Yeah.
14:02I just saw, like, the look on her face.
14:03Oh, the look of terror?
14:04Yeah.
14:05I feel like the takeaway from that was the muddy part, right?
14:09Yeah.
14:10What I heard was I'm worried about it being too wet.
14:11Yeah.
14:12I don't even know what to do if it doesn't stop raining about changing that.
14:14Safiyah and Justin, they've chosen to have a wet eggs, and they're trying to hide and need to keep it as much as the water.
14:21How's the deal with that?
14:22All right.
14:23That made me nervous.
14:24Yeah.
14:25I just saw, like, the look on her face.
14:26Oh, the look of terror?
14:27Yeah.
14:28I feel like the takeaway from that was the muddy part, right?
14:31Yeah.
14:32What I heard was I'm worried about it being too wet.
14:33Yeah.
14:34I don't even know what to do if it doesn't stop raining about changing that.
14:38Safiya and Justin, they've chosen to have a wedding
14:40in the middle of the woods, a brand new ceremony site.
14:42I really, really, truly want it to look like
14:44the beautiful enchanted forest that she wants,
14:46but I think it's supposed to rain
14:48on the day before the wedding.
14:49So I'm concerned now that it's gonna be muddy
14:52and that she's not gonna like it.
14:53I'm really, I really hope it ends up working out.
14:56This is new for all of us.
14:59Oh God, I hope she, we don't have to run string lights.
15:00That would be a-
15:01Yeah.
15:02I thought that a takeaway was
15:05you never ask what the bride wants.
15:07You just tell her what she wants.
15:10Oh, well.
15:12I thought you said that like three or four years ago.
15:14I probably did.
15:15I can get nice pictures when the deck is done
15:18and the witches are down if you'd like tomorrow.
15:21It's like, hey, it already looks a million times better.
15:23I think we have to really make the platform
15:26look kind of like as nice as possible.
15:28Yeah.
15:29So it is like, oh shit, that's a beautiful platform.
15:31Are you sure you're gonna finish this platform by Friday?
15:35Yeah.
15:36Because I'm the general manager,
15:38I'm feeling the pressure from Matt.
15:39There's a lot of work to be done.
15:41I don't wanna disappoint Matt.
15:43It can not get done.
15:46Right?
15:47Of course.
15:48Yeah.
15:49With the ceremony site, we're gonna put wood chips
15:52and I'm hoping that they will dry out.
15:54And Josh promised the platform will get done.
15:56I'm thinking of the solutions
15:58and I'm thinking about what it will look like
15:59at the final moment.
16:00And I really do believe it's gonna be beautiful.
16:03It's gonna be fine.
16:04I'm just worried.
16:05Okay.
16:06Thanks, Josh.
16:15This wedding one's gonna be a signature drink sign.
16:17Hi, guys.
16:18What's the first and last name?
16:20The Lavender Collins is actually our premier drink here.
16:24You gotta post it and tag us at June Farms.
16:27Hi.
16:28How's it?
16:29Good.
16:30How are you?
16:31How's it going?
16:32Good.
16:33Excited?
16:34Yeah.
16:35Nervous?
16:36I'm gonna be fine.
16:37Yeah.
16:38I'm Leah.
16:39I'm brand new at June Farms
16:40and I'm very excited to work here.
16:42The farm is beautiful
16:43and Matt is one of the most well-known people
16:46around this area in the hospitality industry.
16:48I think it's gonna be really awesome to work under him
16:51and to further my knowledge in this field.
16:54I was hired mainly as a server,
16:56but I know that there's a lot of events
16:59that take place at June Farms
17:00and, overall, I'm just super excited
17:02about any opportunity that comes my way.
17:05So you're serving tonight, Leah?
17:06Yeah.
17:07Okay. Any questions?
17:08No.
17:09Okay.
17:10Maybe as they come, I'll come to you.
17:12Yeah, yeah.
17:13And I want to have people here
17:14that kind of, like, grow with us
17:15and I hope you're one of those people truly.
17:16Yeah.
17:17So, again, I think I said this to you before,
17:20but I'm a little hard in the beginning
17:21just because, like, I really care about the details,
17:22so please don't take it personally.
17:24Oh.
17:25But service is, like, you know, very important to me.
17:26But I look forward to working with you.
17:34Good to see you.
17:35How you guys been?
17:36How handsome?
17:37Guys, how good were the tacos?
17:40Delicious.
17:41You guys gotta try the tacos.
17:42They're so good.
17:47Good to see you.
17:48Good to see you.
17:52Today, I have so much going on at the farm in general.
17:55The clock is ticking.
17:56The rehearsal's tomorrow.
17:57And to add to the pressure, we only have two days
18:00to get the ceremony site ready for this big wedding.
18:03Every wedding at June Farms has to be perfect.
18:08Well, the wood chips look phenomenal.
18:10This feels very good.
18:12It's, like, crazy how much these wood chips, like,
18:14make such a difference.
18:15I do really wish that she was here tonight
18:17instead of last night.
18:19No, no, you know what?
18:20That's good, though.
18:21That's good, though.
18:22The bar was so low that we showed her that, like,
18:23this is gonna make her so happy.
18:25Wood chips are down.
18:26We've gotta finish this platform.
18:27Then we have to create this enchanted forest
18:29with beautiful lanterns and candles and stumps.
18:33It's supposed to feel like this fairytale wedding.
18:35I really think what we're going to do
18:36is gonna look very simple and elegant.
18:38I really do think she's gonna like it.
18:40Ugh, I'm, like, gonna cry.
18:41I'm so relieved.
18:42The ground dried up really well, too.
18:44I was nervous about the mud, but it rained this morning,
18:47and even before we were putting down the wood chips,
18:49there was, like, no issue.
18:51I'm really, like, feeling pretty good about it.
18:53It's great.
18:54Let me ask you this.
18:55When do you think that platform will be done?
18:56It'll take a little bit longer,
18:58but I feel really comfortable
18:59with the amount of work I have left here.
19:01And then, I guess, wrap it up tomorrow?
19:05Tomorrow's the rehearsal.
19:07Oh.
19:08Uh...
19:10I mean, it has to be done tomorrow.
19:11Well, they have to be able to stand on it tomorrow.
19:13I don't know if it needs to be, like, stained,
19:14and, like, this...
19:15Well, it shouldn't have steps, obviously.
19:16Yeah, it definitely needs to be stained.
19:17Maple is real...
19:18It's beautiful.
19:19The grain is beautiful.
19:20There are barely any knots, but it's super pale.
19:22I'd rather get as much work as I can done today.
19:25There's a lot of challenges lying ahead of us, for sure.
19:28But I do trust Matt's vision
19:30and that he's leading us to a place
19:33that's gonna bring everyone success.
19:37So you're good with the platform?
19:38Yes.
19:39So everyone else can be helping
19:40kind of get this place looking good with, like, plants?
19:42Exactly.
19:43Josh is acting like he has it all covered.
19:45It's definitely making me nervous
19:46because I'm not quite believing it,
19:47but I have so many other things
19:48that I have to start worrying about
19:50that I just don't have time
19:51to even be, like, focusing on this right now.
19:53We have a lot of work to do.
20:09How's the wedding site?
20:10Beautiful.
20:11You're not stressed out about it?
20:12No longer.
20:13Well, the time...
20:14Getting it done for her rehearsal tomorrow
20:16at five is a little tricky.
20:17You want a drink?
20:20I...
20:21You're...
20:22Were you not at the meeting?
20:23He's the one that's trying
20:24to get me drunk all this time now.
20:26Well, I want him to relax a little.
20:44Sorry.
20:45No, you're okay.
20:46I was just gonna grab your hands.
20:47I'm cold.
20:48You want more?
20:49Do you want my sweatshirt?
20:50Maybe I'll take it later.
20:51Okay.
20:53Vroom, vroom, bitch!
21:01You're not busy, right?
21:02Really?
21:03No, no, no.
21:04Okay, so maybe you can do this together.
21:05I need the tiki torches placed around the ceremony
21:08in the woods, twelve on each side
21:11in ways that feel romantic.
21:12It's just gonna feel like it's, you know,
21:15when you guys get married.
21:16Where would you want them?
21:17How would you want them to look?
21:18Oh, my God, you're so much.
21:19You know, Leighton and Ellie,
21:20I love the two of them together as a couple
21:22for the most part.
21:23Awkward silence.
21:24Oh, my God.
21:25People often get into relationships at June Farms.
21:28I think when you have a very social,
21:30good-looking staff, that tends to happen.
21:32But if they get their job done,
21:34then frankly, I don't care.
21:36And we have 48.
21:37Place as many that looks enchanted,
21:38but not obnoxious.
21:39Too much.
21:40Okay.
21:41Okay, thanks, guys.
21:42Thank you!
21:46I think that's too close to that one.
21:49You think?
21:50I love that Matt gives us, like,
21:51little jobs to do here and there together.
21:53It is kind of fun.
21:54Maybe one closer to the log over here.
21:58Oh, yeah.
22:01Oh!
22:02Oh, my God.
22:03That was a good throw.
22:04That was a really good throw.
22:05I was impressed.
22:06And then what?
22:07Like here?
22:08Right.
22:12Hey, Leighton, there's one more thing I need.
22:14Move a few of those logs up to the back corner
22:17and doing the same thing.
22:18Okay.
22:19And then...
22:20And those, too?
22:21Those are extra,
22:22so we'll probably just get rid of them somewhere.
22:23Or maybe...
22:24Or scatter them.
22:25And then the three ferns there,
22:27we're just moving to the red sign,
22:28and that's it.
22:29Cool.
22:30Leighton's whole job is set up events,
22:32break down events,
22:33and in the middle be really charming to all the guests.
22:36I am so busy right now,
22:37and I've worked with Leighton for like 10 years.
22:41He's like one of the few people
22:42that understands what I want aesthetically.
22:44So in order for this wedding to look as magical
22:47and enchanted as we want it to,
22:49I'm gonna have Leighton bring a bunch of tree sumps,
22:51put it around the perimeter,
22:52and we're gonna make it look really nice.
22:54I wanna see how it looks lit up, too.
22:57Well, that's the good thing,
22:58is like no matter what,
22:59when they are lit,
23:00they're gonna look great, so...
23:01Leighton and I met at June Farms.
23:03He was hosting,
23:04I was bartending,
23:06and so we just became best friends.
23:08We just started having fun.
23:10Oh, my God.
23:11And kind of one thing led to another.
23:13We...
23:14We hooked up!
23:16And then since then,
23:17it was kind of history.
23:19I love you.
23:20I love you, too.
23:21I'd say Ellie and I fell for each other, yeah.
23:23Oh, I was for sure in love with her,
23:25like, probably six months
23:26before she even gave me a chance.
23:28Are you complimenting me?
23:29I am.
23:30Are you flirting with me?
23:31A little bit.
23:32Those times we just spent,
23:33like, just her and I,
23:34I think is the best part.
23:35About working at June Farms,
23:37we always vibed,
23:38we always partied,
23:39we always had fun.
23:40I feel like you can't really, like,
23:41you can't really fuck up putting tikis out.
23:43They look good no matter what.
23:44Knowing Matt so well,
23:46if he hates him,
23:47he'll just come down here,
23:48change him, and not say anything to me.
23:51Look, that's pretty good.
23:56Wanna go back up?
23:57Yep, yep, yep, yep.
23:59Bye, Josh.
24:00Bye, Josh.
24:01See you later.
24:21I check out the wedding site,
24:36the tree stumps have never been moved,
24:38and Leighton is nowhere to be found.
24:42I called you to ask you to do something,
24:44and it didn't get done.
24:45I have to delegate certain things to certain people,
24:47and if it doesn't get done,
24:48then what, now I have to do it?
24:50I asked Leighton to do one thing,
24:51which was to move the tree stumps
24:53around the perimeter.
24:54He didn't even do that.
24:55We have the rehearsal in, like, ten hours.
24:57I have so much other shit to do.
24:58I'm starting to freak out.
25:00It's a, I, I'm,
25:01you're stressing me the fuck out.
25:02I didn't even want that project,
25:03I don't know why.
25:04Well then, don't.
25:06You're hearing me stress about it,
25:08and you're just taking off.
25:09There's no room for error,
25:11because I'm not gonna look embarrassed professionally
25:13in front of a bunch of wedding guests.
25:15So, I rely on him, but he's not there,
25:18didn't do anything I asked him to.
25:19Gives me attitude when I ask him why it's not done.
25:22When I tell you to do a job, get it done, period.
25:24There's no more conversation.
25:25If you can't get it done,
25:26then we have a further conversation to be had.
25:28I gave you a job, you didn't do it.
25:29It's like, I don't have time for this shit.
25:31Leighton, I gotta go.
25:32I got a million things to do.
25:34Great.
25:39Josh, it feels so far behind,
25:44and they're coming in four hours,
25:46and this feels like the framework
25:48might not even be done by six.
25:49I don't know.
25:50It's Friday.
25:51The day of the wedding rehearsal.
25:52There's a lot of work to be done on this platform.
25:55I still need to do the decking,
25:57the front step, and stay in it.
25:59I'm starting to feel the pressure.
26:01Is there somebody on the team
26:03that you feel like can help you with this?
26:05Yeah, I mean...
26:06maybe miles?
26:09This is the quickest part of the whole thing.
26:11Yeah.
26:12I'm freaking out just a touch
26:13that everything's not gonna get done in time.
26:15This needs to be wood chipped.
26:16Okay.
26:17All right.
26:18There's people in heels
26:19that are gonna be walking down this.
26:22You seem pretty smart.
26:23Can I give you a task?
26:25We had just had a bunch of rain.
26:26It was very, very muddy.
26:27I feel a lot of pressure in the next, what,
26:29eight hours before rehearsal
26:30to show her something
26:31that's not gonna freak her the fuck out.
26:33I want this wedding to be perfect for them.
26:36It's not just a business for me.
26:38It's literally my whole life.
26:49Hi, everyone.
26:50My name's Victoria.
26:51I'm the Wedding and Bend Coordinator for the farm.
26:52All right.
26:53We're gonna get on these golf carts here
26:54and head down to where the ceremony's gonna be.
26:56We'll have a little reveal,
26:57and then we're gonna run through the ceremony really quickly,
26:59and then we'll get you guys out of here for dinner.
27:01My job at the farm is being the head of events.
27:05I run all of our events.
27:07I do it all.
27:08I think for only being one full year at June Farms
27:11that I've been doing a really great job,
27:13and we've had a successful event every single time.
27:16This is the Hobbit house.
27:17Oh, that's awesome.
27:18Look at how cute that is.
27:20That's literally the Hobbit.
27:21Right?
27:22Literally.
27:23Literally.
27:24I'm, like, embarrassed right now
27:29not even telling us.
27:30I'm gonna be crying.
27:33Hey, Madsie, he wants to take a shot with us.
27:37You know what?
27:38At the end of my day,
27:39I'll take a shot with you guys.
27:40All right.
27:41All right.
27:45Oh, God.
27:54All the way up here?
27:55Whoa, whoa, whoa.
27:56Whoa.
27:57We're just gonna stop here
27:58so I can explain the scenario.
28:01Everybody, I tried to get every...
28:03Ugh.
28:06It's been a long day.
28:07I tried my best to get it done as much as I could,
28:09I swear.
28:10Okay.
28:12It's, like, 75% there.
28:14I just don't want you to think it's gonna be money,
28:15I promise.
28:16Okay.
28:17Like, you know, my word.
28:18Okay.
28:19Yeah, I, like, have never failed like this,
28:21and I feel like I want it to be, like,
28:23just a really beautiful reveal right now,
28:24and it isn't, so I'm sorry about that.
28:38Ugh.
28:39That was a nightmare.
28:42It felt like everything was collapsing on me.
28:45I mean, the stress of not having that ceremony site
28:49ready for Sophia in front of her family
28:52when she trusted us for her wedding
28:54was embarrassing.
28:56How's this going?
28:58This is very unlike Josh.
29:00I feel like I've always been able to rely on him
29:02for anything.
29:03Had I not stepped in,
29:04that platform would not have been built,
29:07and it seems like he is sort of
29:09over-promising and under-delivering,
29:12and then we had this huge failure with Leighton
29:15not helping me with the logs.
29:17It's always this sort of struggle for me
29:19where I feel like I'm trying to run the best place on Earth,
29:21and as much as I try to keep it all perfect,
29:24I never can.
29:25When I'm done staining,
29:26I have to spread those wood chips
29:28or at least kind of get them evened out.
29:31Okay.
29:34You're so close.
29:40Good morning.
29:47Mother the bride taking all their stuff at the end of the night,
29:49so if you have anything, just let me know where it is.
29:51Yeah.
29:52Why can't anybody get here on time?
29:53I know.
29:54These boys are guaranteed they're just going to show up late.
29:56That looks good, right?
29:58I think this looks beautiful.
29:59Okay.
30:00Regardless of what happened, it's all done and really nice.
30:04I'm very relieved that it's finished.
30:06For the couple to see a transformed ceremony site,
30:10I'm really proud of it.
30:11Although with Leighton, I just feel like he let me down,
30:15you know, but then he shows up and just, like, crushes it.
30:17I give Leighton a pass because I know that he is young and in love.
30:21He does a really good job for me, so I rely on him a lot and I want him to be there.
30:25But I don't have time to dwell on that because I just have to get ready for this wedding.
30:28You know what else?
30:29They never even remember this part.
30:30I mean, they do a little bit, but it's such a blur.
30:32Yeah, it's also 15 minutes.
30:34But she's going to have the most beautiful 15 minutes of her life.
30:39The bride is coming at 440-ish.
30:42So I was going to do three clusters on this side, three on this side.
30:45There's a chair down there for the musician?
30:47There is.
30:48Okay, perfect.
30:49Oh, look who chose to show up late.
30:52You guys ready?
30:53Yeah, now that we set everything up.
30:59Oh, shit. Wow.
31:02Is there anything going with these, Lisa, or is it just this?
31:05Just this.
31:06I mean, it's not my favorite.
31:07It's like roses, dead leaves an inch away from it.
31:11I don't know why anybody would think a long, thin, sad row of white roses would look good.
31:17We have to do some candles.
31:18I have to do something to it.
31:19I mean, it looks like crap.
31:21I love that everyone thinks there's, like, a team of other people that I can call and be like,
31:26fix the roses.
31:27I don't have those people.
31:28I do that stuff.
31:29So when I see little details that are wrong, I just change it.
31:34This feels like we spent money on roses.
31:36That felt like we didn't have enough money for enough roses.
31:39Yo, you said you needed cups to came back with flowers.
31:42Yeah, because the table looks kind of plain.
31:45You better hold on to those plants.
31:47Obviously, if you drive smart.
31:49Ready, princess?
31:50All right, let's do it.
31:51Trinnell had asked me if I could shuttle him down to the Hobbit house with jugs of water,
31:57where they're setting up the bar for the wedding.
32:00I like the weddings.
32:01And I hope they're gonna let me focus more on the larger events moving forward.
32:06Door-to-door drop-off.
32:08How about it?
32:09I accept Venmo.
32:10Venmo for what?
32:11Popeyes gift cards.
32:12You should be paying me.
32:13What?
32:14Yo, are you serious?
32:16What?
32:17That looks corny.
32:18That looks corny to you.
32:19Put them on the ground.
32:20The table looks empty.
32:21Okay.
32:22They want a refund on their cucumber water.
32:25I'll see you around.
32:34Oh my God, look how gorgeous she looks.
32:39I just want to say hi quickly.
32:41You look so gorgeous.
32:44I'm so excited.
32:46I'm so happy for you.
32:47How's it looking down there?
32:48It looks gorgeous.
32:49Yeah.
32:50Yeah, you're gonna love it.
32:51Yo, the shuttle's here with the grooms.
32:53Yo, right behind that barn and find a spot, brother.
32:56Here we go.
32:57Welcome, guys.
32:58Welcome, welcome.
32:59Justin?
33:00Tom.
33:01I'm here to give you guys whatever you need.
33:03You guys want beers?
33:04You guys want...
33:05I'll probably...
33:06Yeah?
33:07A couple handfuls.
33:08How many guys you got?
33:09I got six guys.
33:10Jake?
33:11Evan?
33:12Yeah.
33:13We're going down to the ceremony.
33:14Everybody grab a spot.
33:15Hey.
33:20The pressure of a wedding is overwhelming to me.
33:23I care so much about the experience for the bride and the groom,
33:26but so much can go wrong at any wedding, whether it's the weather,
33:30the staff behaving properly.
33:32You know, you really have to hope for the best, but in my brain it's always like,
33:35oh, shit, what can go wrong?
33:36Seven-ish minutes, I'm going to get to find on your car, and I'll go down.
33:39Seven.
33:40Wow, okay.
33:45Hi, guys.
33:46Welcome.
33:50Are you officiating?
33:51I'm Ellie.
33:52And I always laugh because I've been divorced for 35 years.
33:55I've said some very derogatory things about marriage.
34:00Let me know if you need anything.
34:01How immediate family...
34:02Immediate family is going to be the first row.
34:05Am I considered that?
34:07That's a great question.
34:10Oh, my God, Matt.
34:15Don't cry, don't cry.
34:16Don't cry.
34:35Safiya Lily Cole and Justin and Oberkhan and their families extend a warm welcome to all of you.
34:41You fell in love by chance, but you're here today because you're making a choice.
34:47You've chosen to be with someone who enhances you and makes every day brighter.
34:52Do you, Justin, take Safiya to be your wife, partner in life and one true love?
34:59I do.
35:01Do you, Safiya, take Justin to be your husband, partner in life and one true love?
35:07I do.
35:08By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife.
35:13You may now kiss the bride.
35:17Building this new ceremony spot was a little bit of a nightmare for me, but it is exactly what Safiya hoped it would be.
35:31I'm gonna go move that forward.
35:33Once the ceremony's over and they go back to cocktail hour, in my brain, I'm done.
35:36Other people like Victoria and Leighton kind of take over other important jobs.
35:41I'm just there to chill.
35:43Matt, you truly captured everything.
35:45Like, you brought us to the middle of the woods and we set enchanted forest.
35:49I was so nervous. I was so nervous.
35:51And we put our trust in you, but you delivered.
35:53I'm relieved that this week is over.
35:54I think it ended up looking really beautiful and really enchanted.
36:00So long as you guys are happy, I'm happy.
36:01Heck yeah.
36:03What are you drinking, beautiful?
36:05Lavender Collins or...
36:07Sounds good.
36:08Vodka or gin on that?
36:09Vodka.
36:10Yeah.
36:11Yeah.
36:12Vodka.
36:13Vodka.
36:14That's why I'm doing that for college for you.
36:15Of course.
36:24This feels so good.
36:25Hard part's done.
36:26We killed it again.
36:27We always do.
36:28This was different.
36:29Yeah.
36:30This was a bigger challenge than a typical wedding.
36:31Honestly?
36:32RIP Josh.
36:33Thank you, my boy.
36:34RIP.
36:35I bet he's sleeping right now.
36:36his own fault for not getting his own help to get it done in the time frame that he said he was
36:39gonna do it. He tried to do it alone and couldn't. I probably will not be sticking here longer than
36:44once they come in for dancing. Okay. I want to go down because I know she has a dress change.
36:48All right. Here we go. Here we go. You ready? Oh, oh, oh. It's looking lit. All right. Let me just let
36:57go. Three, two. The calendar is full, but there's no choice but to keep up with it. It feels like
37:05it's just getting crazier and crazier every month. And this is Overguy. I hope that by the end of the
37:12season, we continue building beautiful cabins, focus on guest experience, and turn June Farms into the
37:18top event space in the Hudson Valley. It's not just my money and my reputation on the line, but it's
37:23also my friends and people who work at the farm that have put their whole lives into it. We need
37:28to make it a success together. You know, everybody that's at the wedding, I want to be happy, especially
37:33the bride and groom. At the end of the day, if they say thank you, that was the best wedding
37:37we could have asked for. It's all I want to hear. Oh, what is all this? Congratulations.
37:44I want to give a shout out to you guys. You guys are super stars. Thank you guys so much.
37:48This season on June Farms, I'd like to talk about the weddings that we have coming up. They want
38:01something carnival themed. She's arriving on a horse. The calendar is packed. You're a bar
38:06titan, right? Yes. Perfect. Just want it to go so smoothly. What could go wrong? Why does everyone
38:12dress like German children? Here, we can even, like, customize it for you. Oh, honey. Her dress
38:17isn't even on yet. Are there any barbacks I can borrow because the front patio is flooding?
38:23Center pieces are falling and breaking. What is happening right now? That's her veil. Oh my God,
38:29I was just about to throw it out. I'm upset that you're basically doing my event job. Like,
38:33if anyone can hear me, do you know where Leighton is? She's out there running around,
38:37like, doing my job. Really am asking that you guys try to keep, like, personal stuff outside of
38:42work. You won. Best view in the house. He's obviously really, really good looking. Cute. Josh
38:49is a sweetheart. So happy. I love that. Mm-hmm. We've been hanging out and sleeping together for
38:54months now. He can do this to me and he can do it to anyone. I like happy Ali. Smiley Ali. My name's
39:01not Ali. Dating here seems like it can be tricky. Hey, guys, hurry the fuck up for real. It's,
39:06like, I get that she's cute, but, like, we're setting up a wedding. We're going to let those
39:09guys do their job tonight. You don't need to be around them. Just get away from these
39:12girls. Like, they're working. I'm not just Leighton's girlfriend. It's okay. June Farms!
39:18Now I invite you to steal your marriage with a kiss.
39:28It's just important to me that when they look back at this wedding at June Farms that it is
39:31exactly what they wanted. Every single time. How beautiful was that, my friend?
39:36Yeah, I had a great time on this wedding, guys. How beautiful did you do this!
39:38Yeah, I hope you were the good one, too.
39:38It was when you were looking at it, but you didn't own a wedding. You know what I
39:39do what I want. How beautiful was that, my friend, you know what I want
39:40that would be. I was souchenful. So we're going to be here for a
39:41night when you go to the wedding. You know what I want?
39:45We're going to be here for a hug. That would be a surprise. Thank you for
39:46good time. Next time you're ready for a kiss. We're going to be here for a
39:49kiss. You're waiting for a hug. You know what you're doing last year. Just
39:50try using L来. So have a hug. You know what I'd call it. Now I'd like you.
