00:00I feel relatively positive overall I would say. Certainly I'm quite happy about the cap on benefits for two children was very cruel and I don't agree with children being in poverty so that was welcome.
00:18My main grievance is that we're paying people to have extra children when we're already overpopulated in this country and it's just going to get worse. We've not got enough schools, enough hospitals.
00:29I was hoping the pension would go up a bit, you know what I mean, but I didn't think it will. But otherwise, I suppose she's done all right.
00:41I would have liked to see something about the amount of money we send overseas to aid other countries when we don't seem to be able to sort out our own. Yeah, that's what I would have liked to see.
00:58Perhaps a reduction in foreign aid and a reduction on the amount we're spending on illegal immigration.
01:06I think that it's got to be looked at in the context of the government inheriting a huge problem, huge problems, NHS, education, everything.
01:19And I think, to be fair to them, they're doing their very best.
01:23I just think politicians say they're going to do this, that and the other, and then suddenly they get in and everything just goes wrong.
01:29And they do exact opposite what they're going to say. Rachel Reeves is our MP, yes, and I did vote for her, which was my first mistake.
01:36I'm not very keen on her at all. I don't think she's a person for the people at all. I think she just looks after her own.
01:43It's starting to put tax on pension, which has never been done before. I mean, the Conservatives have just got the winter fuel payment over demonstrations because people have been complaining.
01:55I'm retired myself. And yes, there will be some cost effective actually, you know, to us, especially the council tax and the other taxation.
02:06But I think for young generation, what I think is a little bit hard for them actually to, you know, the people who are working, it will be hard for them to save for their pension, especially if they have a cap on the contribution.
02:19We need to see some results from the government. I think they need to be telling us exactly what they're doing, how they're doing it.
02:26The top 10% can, I've got the broadest shoulders, as we know, they can take the hit.
02:31The pens are not big enough in this country because the cost of living is allowed. I say we should increase it to about £300 a week.
02:38My confidence levels in my own MP, which is Rachel Waves, is probably at rock bottom. It's taken me 18 months to receive a reply by email from her office.
02:54I don't trust anyone from any party because no one answers questions. No one tells the truth.
