00:00In regards to the autumn budget, I think, as a country, we are really, really struggling with bills, council tax rates, gas, electric, and I don't think any of the public services are cheap.
00:12Certainly not public transport. In recent times, I've had to get trains, I've had to get buses, and I just don't think it's a cheaper alternative.
00:20So anything in the way of making just day-to-day living costs, anything cheaper, especially with gas and electric.
00:25We're coming into the winter, and I think that's going to impact people, especially coming up to Christmas massively.
00:31Those are the kind of things where, if people are struggling to pay basic bills, and I haven't even gotten to shopping, grocery shopping.
00:37More help for the NHS for me, if I'm honest.
00:41No, I think they're getting up my mission. I think it's just a bottleness pit. Just too much money going into it. Ridiculous.
00:52NHS?
00:53Yeah.
00:54All right.
00:54Well, I'm sorry, what I think.
00:56I live with him 56 years today.
00:58Oh, sorry, I'm not for words.
01:00The last few budgets, autumn statements, and all that kind of stuff, a few things have been announced, and then kind of either not being delivered on and dialed back.
01:07So I think the first thing I'd like to see is everything that's promised delivered on, which would be fantastic.
01:13I think, secondly, there needs to be some more support as well for people who are kind of jobless, homeless, out of work at the moment.
01:18And it's a bit of a pandemic, I think. If you even just look around Leeds, the amount of people who are kind of really just on the floor at the moment.
01:26So I think a package of measures which is going to help out those kind of people. Obviously, you're going to be taking money from somewhere else in order to fund that. But I think that needs to be top of the list.
01:36I actually think they've made a complete, not a mess. And I actually don't know how we're going to get out. Well, I do know. We will get out of it. It's going to take some time.
01:45I think the unhoused, really, really very, very bad situation at the moment. Someone died in Bradford City Centre because it was so cold at night, you know, and the numbers have definitely gone up and it's definitely a lot worse in the city centre.
02:00So there's definitely needs to be something done about that. Because, I mean, in comparison to everything else, I mean, public transport and infrastructure and the police and stuff like that, I mean, it's a big problem.
02:10I'd say transport's a big one. It's getting quite expensive on the buses and stuff. And, for example, the disabled bus passes and the elderly ones, they're sort of a cut off time where you have to pay for it. And I just, yeah, I think that's a bit on.
02:26Job creation would be a nice thing. More jobs. And people will get people off benefits. Because that's a big thing no one needs.
02:36Yeah. People off benefits, definitely. Get people back into work a bit instead of losing jobs.
02:43It's a bit of an impossible job. I've lived in Pudsey as well before, so she has been my MPs at certain points. It's an impossible job, but just listen to the people.
02:50They will tell you what they want. They don't always get what they want. But I think the more receptive she is and reciprocal in terms of what's delivered, I think the better job she's going to do eventually.
