00:15M.A.C.C. Chief Tanshri Azambaki told Sinar Haryan

00:19that Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohammed Akin

00:22will present himself at the M.A.C.C. headquarters on Friday

00:26to assist in investigations stemming from allegations made by businessman Albert Tay.

00:31The probe was launched after a news portal reported claims

00:35that Tay allegedly provided bribe money to Shamsul

00:38during his tenure as senior political secretary.

00:41Azam also confirmed that three individuals are being called in for questioning.

00:46He said one of them, Sofia Rini Buyong,

00:49already provided her statement Thursday afternoon.

00:51Shamsul's appearance was scheduled for Friday

00:54as he was in Kota Kinabalu

00:57and needed to arrange his return flight to Kuala Lumpur.

01:00Meanwhile, Albert Tay has been granted a postponement

01:03until December 1 due to technical issues.

01:06Azam said he has given investigators a tight deadline,

01:10just two weeks to complete the probe,

01:12underscoring the seriousness with which M.A.C.C. is treating this case.
