A report from Parrot Analytics finds that 'The Mandalorian' was the most in demand of all shows from new streaming services.

00:00A new report finds that The Mandalorian has been the most in-demand original across the
00:10four new streaming services that have dropped over the last nine months.
00:13Third-party measurement firm Parad Analytics has compared the launch weeks of Apple TV+,
00:17Disney+, HBO Max, and Peacock, looking at how demand for their original shows stacked up against
00:22average demand for US TV shows during that period of time.
00:26The company found that The Mandalorian on Disney+, was far and away the most anticipated of all
00:30streaming shows. The drama, set in the world of Star Wars, was made available on the streaming
00:35platforms November 12th launch day. Demand for the show was more than 55 times higher than the
00:39average TV series during that same week. Disney has not said how many viewers The
00:49Mandalorian received, but the service did attract 10 million sign-ups in its first 24 hours.
00:54It now has over 60 million global subscribers.
01:02The Mandalorian recently landed 15 Emmy nominations, including one for Outstanding Drama Series.
01:08Season 2 is expected to premiere in October.
