00:13In it, an AI-generated news anchor is shown saying Christmas parties will be banned in all schools across the country.

00:20As of writing, the video has more than 1 million views, 18,000 reactions, 1,600 comments, and 6,400 shares.

00:29On November 23, the department issued a public advisory on its official Facebook page debunking the circulating post.

00:36In November 2024, DepEd instructed schools and offices to scale down Christmas celebrations, not cancel them.
