'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire' star Logan Kim chats with THR on the movie premiere red carpet and reveals how this film stacks up against the previous 'Ghostbusters' movies. Plus, he shares his thoughts for the franchise moving forward.

00:00Congratulations the newest film I feel like this one's the scariest one yet

00:04maybe so how do you think this film stacks up against Afterlife or the other

00:08Ghostbusters? Yeah well I think we definitely laid into more of the horror

00:12element of Ghostbusters in this one and we opened up a lot of new opportunities

00:16for like ghosts and gadgets and all that fun stuff so I'm really excited for

00:20everybody to see it. Of course and what was it like working more closely with

00:24Bill, Dan, and Ernie in this one especially since they have a more

00:27prominent role compared to Afterlife? Well I think their integrated roles in

00:31this film were a lot larger and I'm very glad like as you'll see Ernie Hudson he

00:36plays Winston Zeddemore he has a way huge like huge role in this film where he's

00:41financially like covering for the Ghostbusters and all that stuff and you

00:45know just going into set and watching Bill work and just crack jokes one after

00:48another is just amazing. Absolutely and since this is Ghostbusters I have to ask

00:52what is your scariest ghost story if you have any? Yes um I was sleeping one night

00:58and I woke up and I and I went to my bathroom and because my curtains were just

01:02rustling and I was like okay might be the wind but there's no wind in my house and

01:06I have no idea what it was there was nothing there I went to my brother's room to see

01:10if he was picking on me or something he was in bed so I went downstairs and I

01:13slept on the couch it's freaking me out. Do you still think about it to this day? A little bit we

01:18moved out of that house like right after that so I was like what maybe it's still

01:21there or something I don't know. Wait that's crazy and then finally I wanted to

01:26ask what are your thoughts or hopes for the franchise moving forward? Well we

01:32opened a lot of new opportunities I think for both location and like gadgetry or

01:37whatever so I would love to see us in like a new location like could be

01:41something cool like out of country maybe. If you had to pick a country or a new

01:45location where would it be? I think Japan would be really cool yeah it'd be

01:49really cool Ghostbusters in Japan. Listen you heard it here first let's make it

01:54happen. Let's make it happen.
