00:00let's get started with our sports betting news of the day unfortunately involves a collegiate

00:04athlete that seems to be potentially breaking the rules a former temple men's basketball player has

00:10placed dozens of bets on owls basketball games over two seasons including wagering against his

00:16own team the ncaa announced over the weekend his name is hyzer miller and he was deemed permanently

00:22ineligible by the ncaa after they found that he placed 42 bets and it was like a lot of parlays

00:28too only 473 dollars this kid risked it all for my gosh he started every game for temple

00:34over a couple of seasons and they found his sports book accounts and certainly

00:38oh my gosh these kids will never learn 473 dollars risking his future in the ncaa and of course

00:47professionally as well the ncaa also announced over the weekend they have reversed course smartly

00:52enough on a rule change that would have allowed student athletes to bet on professional sports

00:56obviously not involving their own games but that's out two-thirds of division one member

01:00schools voted to rescind a previously approved rule change to allow student athletes coaches

01:04and staff to bet on professional sports the ban will form all betting and remain in place

01:11for all three ncaa divisions smart if you ask me okay uh the lone game of the weekend that wasn't

01:19really good was sunday night football ironically over before it started boy the rams don't they look

01:24like the best team in the nfl right now they sure do 34 to 7 the final another game from the mvp

01:30candidate and the favorite right now on fan duel matthew stafford 34 to 7 the final rams got a lot

01:36of touchdowns in this one speaking of which davante adams ended up catching a couple in this game as

01:41stafford was able to find all of his different weapons including cody parkinson uh also in this game

01:47it should be noted that baker mayfield did not finish the game that would have been teddy

01:52bridgewater because mayfield fell awkwardly on his left shoulder that's the non-throwing shoulder

01:58he went in the blue tent ended up coming back in and then couldn't finish the game so no word on baker

02:09some special teams performances um overall really pleased it was awesome to see our field goal operation

02:15me was hitting a couple big field goals i think that's going to serve us really well

02:18and um you know it was a good complete team win some things that we can clean up just based on

02:23kind of how we were playing it specifically offensively in the second half but um wanted

02:28to be able to be smart kind of keep the clock running and so uh love this team um a lot of

02:33respect for coach bowls and that group and um you know we'll move on and start getting ready for the uh

02:38the panthers so a lot of guys get better i saw some things we can do better you know it's not

02:43everybody it happens to be the guy here and the guy there and it ends up being the same thing uh

02:49obviously the big plays on defense the three or four plays pick six when the ball bounces off and

02:55gets that taking that once you get off to a slow start that way against a team like that they're

03:00great within their own route right obviously so hard to play catch up in that aspect what an

03:06impressive fourth quarter comeback it was for the kansas city chiefs yesterday with their season

03:11seemingly hanging in the balance patrick mahomes and company capture a 23 20 win in overtime the

03:18chiefs clearly did not cover the spread the game also went under the total patrick mahomes after the

03:25game talking about the comeback and just how resilient the team was to get that win against the colts

03:31and the game's not going your way um you could you could have folded in that situation and kind

03:36of been kind of the rest of the season the guys responded and and then found a way to win on

03:40every single uh unit i mean offense uh we found a way at the end defense to tall multiple times to

03:45give us chances and harrison and and arise did a great job flipping the field and and making field

03:51goals so we needed a win like this and now let's just try to build off of it

03:54um i think guys just it's kind of an urgency thing i mean obviously you want to be urgent but it was it

04:03was do or die type type thing where you had to make something happen and guys made plays happen

04:08um throughout the entire team it wasn't one person as it was everybody everybody made plays in the

04:12biggest moments and uh we found a way to win don't look now but the dallas cowboys are back in the

04:18playoff hunt ahead of their thanksgiving day game on thursday they came all the way back down 21

04:23to beat the eagles 24 to 21 the final the eagles looked like they had this one all wrapped up but

04:29they just kept fumbling punts and runs and everything else dak prescott giving credit not to the offense

04:35but for the defense for keeping them in the game um defense defense defense defense i can't give

04:41them enough credit uh we wouldn't have won this game without the opportunities that they gave us

04:45over and over again um it was also moments of just you know when they get a stop or something happened

04:51whether it was quentin or donovan um one of those guys telling me you know we got you we got you and

04:56and then when they did stop them telling we told you uh just continue it continuation of what we did

05:02last week and just uh sticking together and like i said it's about the brotherhood and trust me um

05:07once again like we're always going to do it and and do it for marshawn and uh he was felt tonight and

05:13i'm sure he was playing right there alongside with us another incredible game played yesterday between

05:19the bears and the steelers this one was back and forth throughout the bears end up picking up the win

05:2331 to 28 caleb williams had a strong game throwing a couple touchdown passes to dj moore

05:29and it wasn't easy for the new england patriots against the cincinnati bangles but they do win

05:58point favorites they end up winning this one over the vikings 23 to six impressive win for them

06:05there matt lafleur talked about just the fill-ins and how successful they were all three phases

06:29to try to get their bodies back we'll get together as a team tomorrow and and we're off and on to

06:34detroit um it was kind of a weird game where our defense really had control of the football game

06:39i've never called the same run so many times consecutively it was it was like three yards in a

06:46cloud of dust but we were it was effective and bottom line was um i just thought with the way

06:52our defense was playing we just took the air out of the ball and said go win it for us the detroit

06:59lions needed every point possible in their 34 to 27 win in overtime boy the giants gave them all they

07:06could handle especially jamis winston who threw two touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass after the

07:10game giants have seen enough of their defense they fired their coordinator shane bowen jacksonville

07:15also stayed alive in a wild game 27 to 24 they win in arizona meanwhile the seattle seahawks a game

07:22that they thought they would blow out the tennessee titans was actually pretty close they were 12 and a
