00:00Congratulations on this film. I know Ryan Coogler said that this is much more than just a vampire horror.
00:06So how would you describe this genre and also the other elements at play?
00:11Ah man, I've been dreading this question. It's difficult for me to encapsulate.
00:20And that's probably the whole point of this conversation, right?
00:25All I can say is, whatever you think it is, think again.
00:30But it's guaranteed it's a good night out. All day, whenever you go and see it, you know?
00:37I also heard it's kind of part musical. What can you say about that element of it?
00:42Yeah, it's all singing, all dancing. Always wanted to do a musical.
00:47We had Ludwig Goranson, Serena Goranson in charge of all of the music.
00:55So obviously they're like top level expertise in the recording studio a lot.
01:00So I was living my best Beyonce life on this one. I'm sad it's over.
01:05Are you a tenor? Are you a bass? What would you say in your singing range?
01:09I'm versatile, yeah. I'm ranging. I'm ranging, yeah.
01:12A little bit of a belt?
01:13A little bit of a belt. It depends where I am, you know? It's circumstantial.
01:16I love that. I also know, I said this is more than a vampire horror, but there's been a lot of iconic vampire movies throughout the years.
01:24What would you say is one that really changed the game for you?
01:27You say I'm a massive Gary Oldman fan. So his Dracula was kind of a little bit, I hope I'm not saying too much here, but a little bit of a North Star for me doing this.
01:41Yeah, yeah. But Gary Oldman in general is, you know, fair to say.
01:45Looking at that for inspiration. Next up, you have 28 Years Later.
01:49What was it like kind of being a part of that cast, and what are you excited for fans to see?
01:56Amazing. Amazing. Really lucky to have done this, gone straight on to 28.
02:04Was in good company here, was in good company there.
02:09So it was amazing. It was amazing. Nice to keep the momentum from this and then on to that.
02:14And yeah, look, we go there. We go there on it.
02:19So, I think, yeah, I don't want to say too much. You know what I mean?
02:30You
