00:04feel like it really encapsulates Lucy Gray's story.

00:07How did you go about creating the song?

00:09Ah, thank you.

00:10That's kind of you to say.

00:11Yeah, I got the opportunity to watch a rough cut of the film a few months ago and I really

00:15fell in love with Lucy Gray and, you know, her arc and her resilience and so I wanted

00:20to write a song that sort of captured that and, yeah, it's just such an honor.

00:24I'm a big fan of all things Hunger Games.

00:27And for you, and I feel like, yeah, you're a true fangirl in that way.

00:29I know you were a Twilight fan back in the day.

00:31When you were asked to do the Hunger Games song as a former Hunger Games fan, how did you

00:35feel?

00:36Oh, my gosh.

00:37I mean, thrilled.

00:38I read the books and watched the movies and, yeah, I love the soundtracks too.

00:42So it's just really incredible to be a part of something so iconic.

00:45I'm a true fangirl too, so I really appreciate that.

00:48For you, six Grammy nominations this week.

00:50How does that feel?

00:51Oh, my God.

00:52Absolutely surreal.

00:53And it's just so incredible to be recognized by this amazing community of musicians.

00:59So I am very lucky.

01:02And you're getting ready to head out on your first arena tour.

01:04I have my tickets.

01:08Originally, I'm going home to go with my cousin.

01:13But so what are you doing right now to prep?

01:18Yeah, I'm getting it all together right now, brainstorming everything.

01:22I'm running on the treadmill singing my songs because I want to be able to jump up and sing

01:25the songs.

01:26But yeah, I think it's going to be really fun.

01:27And I want the show to sort of feel like a great place for people to just scream and

01:31jump around and let loose.

01:33What's one song on Guts that you can't wait to perform live?

01:37I really love the song All American Bitch.

01:38And I think that's going to be a really fun one to perform live.

01:41That's like a big yeller.

01:43So I hope people kind of let out all their frustrations on that one.
