00:50All the cabinets underneath the beds.
00:52I want you to be double-checking.
00:56Bentley!
00:57If you can hold my hand, you can.
01:00I don't know what to do.
01:01I don't know what to do.
01:02I don't know what to do.
01:06There's all these other dogs.
01:07They've got pit bulls.
01:08Where is he?
01:10A toy?
01:11Hold on, hold on.
01:12Hold on.
01:13Hold on.
01:14Hold on.
01:16Look out, hold on.
01:17Hold on.
01:18We've got a family wanting home through the woods.
01:20We've got a family wanting all through the woods.
01:21We've got to call.
01:22This is the first one year.
01:23OK, I need every available investigator to help search for this child.
01:53So what exactly do we have?
02:12A three-year-old white male, his name's Bentley, has shorts on and boots.
02:16It's getting really cool when it's getting dark.
02:18That's definitely a concern.
02:20It's directly behind the house.
02:21There's a lot of water and a bunch of creeks that run off of it.
02:26What's the distance between that water and the house?
02:28About a half a mile.
02:29OK, so something he could do, yeah?
02:31OK.
02:32I'll go talk to Mom, go off search the woods, and check the water.
02:36OK.
02:37Yeah.
02:38He could be anywhere.
02:43Bentley!
02:48Bentley!
02:49Help!
02:50Help!
02:51Is there any direction that he would go?
02:55He was right there.
02:56And then he was gone.
02:57Please find him.
02:58Please.
02:59Find my baby.
03:00Please find my baby.
03:01Listen to me.
03:02You take a second and slow down.
03:17Do you hear how I'm talking?
03:19Look at me.
03:20Look at me.
03:21I want you to look right at me.
03:23Take a breath.
03:24And I want you to slow down.
03:27OK?
03:28I want you to slow down.
03:30Everybody with me?
03:33Bentley!
03:36Bentley!
03:51Wait, let me...
03:56Hey, lady.
04:06Sergeant Raines.
04:07OK.
04:07Spill your first name.
04:08OK.
04:10OK.
04:10They found him.
04:12They found him.
04:13They found him.
04:17Yeah, everything is over.
04:18We got it.
04:19Thank you, sir.
04:26Hey, big guy.
04:31Look how big you are.
04:32How you doing?
04:33Hey, baby.
04:35Hi, honey.
04:37You doing a hair?
04:38Yeah.
04:39Oh, can I dig off?
04:42Hey, jeez, boy.
04:54Hey, Heidi.
04:55Hey, Vicki.
04:56We have a new case.
04:57He's a former college student, and he's missing from his apartment.
05:01It's completely out of character.
05:02His mother's worried sick.
05:04I have a really bad feeling about this one.
05:24This was the answer.
05:25Hi, Ms. Duncan.
05:27This is Sergeant Raines with Richland County Sheriff's Department.
05:30Hey, Sergeant Raines.
05:31How are you?
05:32Doing good.
05:33I'm just calling to see if by any chance you've heard from Morgan.
05:36I have the missing person report.
05:38Nope.
05:38We're still worrying about him.
05:40It says that you haven't seen him since Thanksgiving.
05:43So you saw him Thanksgiving Day, but not after?
05:45I want to say it's been seven days since we talked to Morgan or heard from him.
05:50And that's very unusual?
05:52He doesn't usually go without talking to you?
05:54Never.
05:55Does he talk to you every day?
05:57Every day, three, four times a day.
05:59He may not have posted, but he would at least have been active on social media.
06:05And nothing happened to cause this, like, he didn't say, hey, I'm upset about this or anything like that?
06:12No, but he's schizophrenic.
06:15Hey, Vicki.
06:26Hey, I was just going to let you know, his mom hasn't spoken to him since a couple days after Thanksgiving.
06:32That's over a week ago.
06:34And apparently he's schizophrenic.
06:36That doesn't sound good.
06:38So I'm headed out to the apartment complex now.
06:41I spoke to Investigator Ruiz, and he's going to meet me out there.
06:44Okay, check back in when you have one.
06:47I'll keep you updated whatever we find out.
07:01Hey, Kerwin.
07:03Hey, Sergeant.
07:09Did you get the keys?
07:11Yeah.
07:14Sheriff's department.
07:35Morgan, are you at home?
07:41Sheriff's department.
07:42Morgan?
07:47Morgan?
07:53Morgan?
07:53Morgan?
08:06Doesn't look like anything's packed.
08:08God, we need to make sure he's not under these clothes.
08:17God forbid I've had that happen before.
08:26Sarge, there's a phone right here.
08:34That looks like medicine.
08:35And the wallet, driver's license.
08:43Social security card.
08:46Look, here's his money card.
08:48That's bad.
08:50So he didn't take anything?
08:53Because something happened to him?
08:55I mean, I'm concerned.
08:57Unless he just disappeared.
08:59Did he just decide to go away?
09:01I mean, if his card's...
09:03Why would you not want to access your money?
09:04What, are you going to leave your phone?
09:06Your phone and your card?
09:07I mean, that's his only way to communicate or have money.
09:12It's like he just vanished.
09:13Let's ask around and see if anybody knows anything.
09:29My name is Sergeant Raines.
09:30This is Investigator Ruiz.
09:32Do you know Morgan Duncan?
09:33I was thinking about him yesterday, and I'm like, have I seen him?
09:38Unusual, because I used to see him every day.
09:40And I'll run out and call him and tell him, come get something.
09:43I may have something for him or whatever.
09:45But I haven't seen him since Thanksgiving.
09:46That's what we were going to ask.
09:47We have a missing person report on him, so we're trying to find him.
09:52Do you know if he has any problems with anybody or anything?
09:54Not to my knowledge.
09:55He always was real cool to me.
09:57I mean, he always respect me, take my trash out or, you know, and he'll come past and
10:02I said, can you fix me something to eat?
10:04And most of the time I do.
10:06And I just haven't seen him.
10:10I can tell you, day before he went missing, I was walking from Springtree, and he was crossing
10:16the street.
10:17He was by himself.
10:18He normally healed me like that.
10:20Amen.
10:22But he didn't heal me that day.
10:24Morgan is always smiling.
10:33If no one else is smiling, he's smiling.
10:36Bubbly.
10:37Just always got something funny to say.
10:41Cracking jokes.
10:42If he saw somebody carrying a bag that was too heavy, you know, he's going to go over
10:46there and grab it and help him, you know.
10:48He was brought up with good morals, you could tell.
10:52I have to keep reminding him.
10:53Don't call me a man.
10:54That makes me feel awful, though.
10:58But then just before Thanksgiving, it was like something was off.
11:02Something wasn't right with Morgan.
11:06He just kind of, he wasn't out and about as much as he usually was.
11:10Seemed like he was just staying home.
11:13And then Thanksgiving gets here and Morgan's gone.
11:18Hello.
11:18Good.
11:19How are you doing?
11:31Good.
11:31How are you doing?
11:33Yeah.
11:34Are you looking for the massacre?
11:35Do you know him?
11:37I do.
11:38He was a very good guy.
11:40I mean.
11:41That's what everybody seems to say.
11:42Very, you know, kind.
11:44Anything you ask him, he would definitely give it to you.
11:47I mean, I don't know where he might have been.
11:50I mean, I think he's so blind, but it's not normal for him to be gone.
11:55That's what everybody says.
11:56Everybody says he's nice and that it's not normal for him not to be walking around talking
12:00to everybody.
12:00And honestly, I wouldn't know who he would be with.
12:03That was going to be my next question.
12:04Yeah, I don't know who he would be with.
12:06You know, I just met him.
12:08You don't ever see him with anybody out here?
12:10No.
12:11He's usually by himself.
12:12Yeah.
12:13He's usually by himself.
12:14And I don't know where he would be.
12:17But he was such a nice guy.
12:20Just so nice.
12:21So nice.
12:28Do you live here in this building?
12:30Do I?
12:31I'm homeless.
12:32Yeah.
12:33I stay with my boyfriend right here.
12:34Oh, OK.
12:35Yeah, in this car.
12:36Do you just hang out here?
12:37Yeah, I just know a couple of people.
12:38Take showers.
12:39OK.
12:40I'm sorry.
12:41Thanks.
12:42No, you're good.
12:43You're good.
12:44Listen.
12:45Did that feel odd to you?
12:46Yeah.
12:47Write this tag number down.
13:01Huh?
13:02Huh?
13:03I was just seeing you write.
13:05You write notes on everything.
13:06Yeah.
13:07Have a good day.
13:09Have a good day.
13:18She was so overly friendly, like no one walks up to the police and talks to them.
13:24But the weirdest part is, she talked about him in the past tense.
13:31She's been going to be like just this time to get her.
13:32Everybody like this.
13:33They're all pretty good.
13:34Here she goes.
13:35You're welcome.
13:36Everybody like this.
13:37These are probably my favorite songs.
13:38
14:01He hasn't posted anything for over a week.
14:03OK.
14:04Have you told his mom what you found in his apartment yet?
14:12This is Sergeant Raines.
14:14So we went out to his apartment, and his wallet's there.
14:18His cell phone is there, his medication.
14:20So that's really odd.
14:21That's unusual.
14:23He carried that stuff with him every place he goes.
14:26And he's overdue for his medicine that
14:29keeps him from being psychotic.
14:32Oh, gosh.
14:33All the organizations that help young people
14:37who have mental health still.
14:38OK.
14:39Helps him get that apartment over in Springtree.
14:42And a lot of the big clients live over there.
14:44OK.
14:45According to the apartment, and they know Morgan,
14:48he's disappeared.
14:53I'm sure I got to stress out.
14:55This is someone's life about to come.
15:00The Japanese continue their search now for a missing man.
15:09He's 27-year-old Morgan Duncan.
15:11He was last seen at his home on the 200 block of Springtree Drive
15:15in Columbia.
15:16This was back on Tuesday, November 28.
15:20Authorities say he is in need of his prescribed medications.
15:23Like the saying, so-and-so will take the clothes off
15:26of their back for you.
15:27Morgan's really that type of guy.
15:30I remember in high school, I purchased some clothes from him
15:33because he really had some really nice clothes.
15:35And I couldn't afford to get clothes from the store.
15:40I bought $100 worth of clothes from him.
15:42And he lost the $100 bill that same afternoon.
15:45I didn't know this, though.
15:47The next day, he came back and brought another bag of clothes
15:51in addition.
15:52And that's when he had told me that he had lost the $100 bill.
15:55So that really kind of sunk into me.
15:57I was like, wow.
15:57Even though this guy had lost the whole $100
16:00that I just gave him, he was still kind enough
16:03to bring me more clothes the next day.
16:05But I think some things were a little off sometimes.
16:13Some days, he used to come to school,
16:15and he was just not put together, if you catch what I'm saying.
16:20Stressed out.
16:21You can just see the stress.
16:22I would see him post often on social media of him just
16:25standing in downtown Columbia.
16:27And I know that if you're standing downtown Columbia
16:31at 1 PM, 2 PM, with just nothing else to do,
16:35something doesn't look right.
16:37I'm like, wait a second.
16:39What is he doing down there?
16:49We'll just start at the beginning.
16:51Our missing person is Morgan Duncan.
16:53He is a 27-year-old Bravo Mike.
16:55The complainant, LaTanza Duncan, hasn't physically
16:58seen her son since she saw him on Thanksgiving.
17:01In Morgan's apartment, we locate his wallet, cell phone,
17:04his schizophrenia medicine.
17:06And according to Morgan's mother,
17:08he relies very heavily on those drugs.
17:11So that's a red flag.
17:12We spoke to many people at the apartment complex.
17:15He takes out their trash.
17:16They talk to him.
17:17They give him food.
17:18They make him coffee.
17:19None of them have seen or heard from him.
17:22He's had contact with no one.
17:25But while we're there, a mixed female and a Hispanic male
17:30just woke up and start talking to us.
17:32She tells us that she's homeless, and that's her boyfriend,
17:35and that's his vehicle, and they live in there together.
17:38She seems very forthcoming, but it was really odd.
17:40OK.
17:41So we ran her boyfriend's vehicle and tags.
17:44They came back clear.
17:46Springtree is pretty much surrounded by woods,
17:49so we'll need to search that area.
17:57Morgan is off his meds.
17:58He could be hiding out.
17:59Beyond the woods is an abandoned theater.
18:07We need to rule that out also.
18:15But watch your back inside the theater.
18:18It's known for drug use and criminal activity.
18:27Where's the apartment?
18:29That one.
18:30OK.
18:31Just stay very close to me, but on the side,
18:34maybe 10, 15 feet.
18:35No more.
18:36OK.
18:37She's on.
18:38Get up.
18:51You got a light?
18:52Yeah.
19:03Bristol County Sheriff, make yourself known.
19:07There's a fresh soda bottle of people that have been in here.
19:17If anybody sees something suspicious,
19:19let me know.
19:20We don't want the dog to it, OK?
19:23It's a little thicker than it looks.
19:28This is deep.
19:35Anything over there?
19:37Clean.
19:38Clean.
19:38Open.
19:39Mm-hmm.
19:40Yeah, that's clear.
19:46You got my back?
20:02Morgan!
20:02Morgan!
20:13Theater's clear.
20:20Dang, look at that.
20:23There's actually a path through here.
20:24Somebody was staying back here.
20:36We have a fire pit and a tarp, and then there's wrappers, like,
20:40from food and everything.
20:42And it's clear.
20:43Like, you can see they cut it.
20:47He could be out here because he's off his meds,
20:50and maybe he's just, you know, a little confused and stuff.
20:55But if Morgan was here, he's long gone.
20:58Hello?
21:17Hi, this is Sergeant Rains with Richland County Sheriff's Department.
21:19Yeah.
21:20I spoke to Morgan Duncan's mother, and he said you may be able to help us with this missing
21:25person case.
21:26Um, can I close my door real quick?
21:28Absolutely.
21:29Okay.
21:30Okay.
21:31Are you there?
21:32Yes.
21:33Are you there?
21:33Are you there?
21:34Yes.
21:34So, I don't know where exactly you want me to start.
21:38Um, we haven't seen Morgan.
21:41So, last week, I requested a welfare check.
21:45Uh-huh.
21:46And so, an officer came out with me, and we looked in the unit.
21:49He wasn't there.
21:50It's really strange, and nobody has seen him.
21:53And the burn is going straight to voicemail.
21:55Right.
21:56So, I've been worried about what's going on out there with all these clients.
22:02Okay.
22:03We suspect that they might be kind of preyed upon.
22:07The people out there, they just kind of took over a client apartment.
22:12Wow, okay.
22:13She said she was in one of the units.
22:15So, the guy walked in and said they were staying there now.
22:19And she'd never met them before.
22:21And they didn't meet her.
22:23Okay.
22:24She was terrified of them.
22:25Oh, my.
22:27Okay.
22:28Wow.
22:30The deputy told us to get the client into sister care to get her away from there.
22:35Okay.
22:36The mom doesn't know all this.
22:38Hmm.
22:39I mean, they're going among a lot of different clients.
22:42And they're just too scared to do anything?
22:44Like, they don't call 911 or anything?
22:46Yeah.
22:47They're very scared of them.
22:48Do you think, I mean, just your opinion, do you think they did the same thing to Morgan?
22:54I don't know.
22:55I don't know.
22:56Okay.
22:57But I am worried about it.
23:01There's something going on out there.
23:08I don't know if that has anything to do with why Morgan's missing.
23:11The vibe is just completely off.
23:13The profit are telling us that their clients are reporting people coming to their door,
23:17forcing their way in their apartment.
23:19And they're scared because these people are violent.
23:22Seems like there's some vulnerable people that are being taken advantage of in the situation.
23:25Absolutely.
23:26It's just so weird.
23:27I've heard of, like, a whole apartment complex being part of this kind of weird stuff going on.
23:31Right.
23:32Just getting taken over.
23:34So somebody take over his apartment.
23:37We need to speak to their clients making these reports because that might lead us to Morgan.
23:42Do you know anything about Morgan's disappearance?
23:49I didn't know he disappeared until now.
23:51Anybody tried to hurt you?
23:52Anybody tried to come into your apartment on you?
23:55I don't want to get the police involved because...
23:57I know.
23:58We're going to protect you, okay?
23:59They came to my door.
24:03Oh, man.
24:04Wow.
24:05Okay.
24:06I was intimidated.
24:07How many guys were there?
24:09Two.
24:10Two.
24:13Do you know of anything that they were doing?
24:15Hustling.
24:16Smoking.
24:17Breaking.
24:18You know how to sit in with you.
24:21Give them a week.
24:22The week turned into two weeks.
24:24Then you were scared, yeah?
24:26I would have to go good at it again.
24:28Do you remember the name of the guys who did that to you?
24:32There was a guy named Jersey.
24:37Jersey.
24:38That's his name.
24:40Jersey.
24:41Oh, wow.
24:42Jersey is the one that beat me up.
24:45He said, don't open your mouth, bitch.
24:49Don't say another word.
24:51He took the pillow over my face and I couldn't breathe.
24:54I was so scared.
24:57It cooked up dough.
25:00Crap.
25:01Yes, ma'am.
25:02Don't let me out.
25:04He said if I put the police on him that he was going to kill me.
25:07We tried to find a temporary location for you that's safe.
25:11They're preying on all of you out there.
25:13So you know how Jersey was going in someone's apartment, taking over?
25:22Yeah.
25:23He was trying to beat Billy Batman.
25:25You ever seen him with Morgan?
25:28Yeah.
25:29Jersey?
25:30Jersey?
25:31Yes, ma'am.
25:33I see a bad worry house.
25:36And then a couple days later, he's missing.
25:38I hope there ain't nothing bad happening to him.
25:41I tell you what.
25:43So Captain Jackson has been trying to gather information.
25:53It sounds like there's a gang or something operating out there.
25:56She actually was given a name, the name Jersey.
25:59He is known to force his way into other residents that live at Springtree and kind of take over
26:05and is very abusive to them.
26:07He has beaten them.
26:09Our victim, Jersey, was in his apartment.
26:13Right now, he is definitely our suspect and we are at least a person of interest.
26:17So the name Jersey, it's going to be an alias.
26:20Brittany, if you could look into who Jersey actually is and if he has a criminal history or anything like that.
26:31His favorite saying was that he's got that gun in there.
26:35Jersey?
26:36Jersey.
26:37Do you know if he had a gun?
26:42I saw the clip.
26:46Do you know if it had bullets here?
26:47Yes, it did.
26:49Were you afraid?
26:51Yes, I was.
26:52Are you afraid of Jersey now?
26:55Yes.
27:07Got you.
27:08Anything else you can think of?
27:10Well, this doesn't have anything to do with this, but it does have to do with Morgan.
27:20And I think the two are tied together.
27:22Okay.
27:23There's someone else.
27:25And he might be able to shed some light.
27:27Who's that?
27:29His name is James.
27:31Mm-hmm.
27:33Do you know his last name?
27:36Kelly?
27:37Is James Kelly a resident at Springtree?
27:42Yeah.
27:43Okay.
27:45You don't realize all this stuff can be really helpful because we just got to find Morgan.
27:51He's not a bad guy.
27:53Well, I don't think he just did.
27:59Hey.
28:00Hey, Vicki.
28:01I just got done interviewing one of the clients at that nonprofit.
28:04Okay.
28:05She said that we should interview somebody named James Kelly.
28:08She made it sound like it was kind of important.
28:11Oh, really?
28:12Yeah.
28:13He's the guy that lives across from Morgan.
28:22Hello.
28:23Hey.
28:24How are you?
28:25How are you?
28:26Are you James?
28:27Yeah.
28:28So we're looking for...
28:29Morgan.
28:30Mm-hmm.
28:31So anybody that he might know...
28:32I don't care.
28:34You don't care what happened to him?
28:35No.
28:36He's not your friend?
28:37I'm pissed at him for bringing the cops to Mendoza.
28:39I don't like him.
28:40Well...
28:42I've lived here eight years.
28:43First time I've had police at my door.
28:44Better be the last.
28:46Well, you never know.
28:47Hopefully it will.
28:48Nothing against y'all.
28:49I just don't be with police.
28:52How long have you known him?
28:54What, three months, four months?
28:55Oh, that's all?
28:56Yeah.
28:57Okay.
28:58Do you have any idea where he would be?
28:59No.
29:00I mean, I...
29:01Because we have to find him.
29:02We can't stop looking for him until we find him.
29:04I mean, I don't know.
29:05I don't have no idea.
29:07Yeah.
29:08Well, hopefully we can find him.
29:11Well, thank you for talking to us.
29:12All right.
29:13Thank you, James.
29:14Have a good day.
29:15Okay.
29:16Wow.
29:17He did not want to talk to us.
29:22I'm not really sure what's going on in there, but there was a guy sitting at the counter,
29:29and then he got up and he goes and he shuts the bedroom door.
29:35Hello?
29:36Hey, so, James Kelly.
29:38He acted really scared, like he was very hesitant.
29:41There was some guys in the apartment that were, like, standing right behind him listening
29:45to what he was saying.
29:46I can't say if it was or was not Jersey in his apartment, but if it was, maybe he can lead
29:52us to Morgan.
29:53Okay.
29:54That might be the same scenario.
29:55Where they're coming in and preying on all of these people.
29:58Hey, Vicki.
29:59Hold on just a minute.
30:04Our suspect, Jersey, his real name is Alteric Cuffey.
30:08He's a convicted felon.
30:10He has a really lengthy criminal history.
30:12It's about 30 pages long.
30:14Oh, my gosh.
30:15He has an array of charges for drug dealing, resisting arrest, escape.
30:19He's got convictions across multiple different states.
30:22And his big one is an attempted murder charge.
30:24Wow.
30:25I don't know his jersey in his apartment, but if it is, he knew we saw them.
30:30So we need to hit James' address right now.
30:33Yes.
30:34I'm just thinking this could be a lot bigger than what we're thinking it is.
30:38Yeah, I've never seen anything like this before.
30:42I'm gonna need some backup.
30:44Our target's gonna be Alteric Cuffey, a.k.a. Jersey.
31:07He's wanted in connection with the missing person case.
31:10He has a very violent criminal history.
31:13We've been told that he is holding people in the apartments hostage.
31:17Today, we're gonna be hitting apartment four, which is James Kelly's apartment.
31:21When we visited James, he wouldn't let us in.
31:24He was very nervous.
31:25And there was two unidentified males in the background.
31:29We suspect one of them could be Jersey.
31:31And witnesses say he's armed.
31:34He's armed.
31:36And we're all hitting this house.
32:06I'll call you right back, OK?
32:11Hey, Rich LaCotta Sheriff's Department.
32:15Yes?
32:16Step out.
32:19Give me your hand, that's fine.
32:23What's going on, man?
32:24Get behind the car.
32:27This is Rich LaCotta Sheriff's Department.
32:29Come on now with your hands visible and wait for other instructions.
32:34Hey, Rich LaCotta Sheriff's Department.
32:36Y'all don't kill me.
32:38We're trying to help you.
32:39I know, but God.
32:50Nobody in there.
32:54Have you seen Jersey?
32:55Jersey?
32:56You don't know where he's at?
32:57Trust me, if I knew where he was at, I'd let y'all know.
33:01You know where he'd hang out in Japan?
33:03Oh, here.
33:04Does he have a phone?
33:05I don't know it, but I'm ready for this to be over with.
33:11Hey, we got James Kelly.
33:13There's no one else in the apartment, but he seems terrified.
33:16I think he knows more than he's letting on.
33:25We know people are trying to scare you.
33:27We can help you, but we're going to need you to work with us.
33:30I'm trying to put all this behind me.
33:35I get it, but there's only one way to make that happen.
33:40Talk to the police, because we can arrest those people and get them away.
33:44Yeah.
33:44All right, James, we do understand some of the stuff that's going on in that apartment complex.
34:09You know, people being scared to live there, all kinds of stuff going on.
34:14And nobody should have to live like that, right?
34:17Because that should be your peaceful place to live.
34:20It used to be.
34:24How did you hear?
34:25Jersey?
34:27Through Morgan.
34:28Morgan.
34:29What did Morgan say?
34:31It just said he was a dope boy.
34:33Okay.
34:34And he was making a complex hot.
34:35I mean, Morgan can tell you, but I can't find Morgan.
34:40Right.
34:42Did Morgan ever tell you if he was scared or anything?
34:46Yeah, no.
34:47He's scared.
34:48Okay.
34:48Well, I was scared.
34:51I don't know if he was scared to fucking love.
34:53Okay.
34:55I'm scared to do that.
34:59But he's getting dope on credit.
35:02Who, Morgan?
35:03Yeah.
35:05I mean, he owes one drug dealer $600.
35:13The other drug dealer $1,000.
35:17He's a double job.
35:18I mean,
35:21I'm scared.
35:26Yeah.
35:27Yeah.
35:28I get up on.
35:29You know it, man.
35:31One, two, three.
35:32I'm on two nights road.
35:34My food got cold.
35:36So I smoke till I'm cold.
35:38Yeah.
35:38You know how I do, coming through the metro.
35:42You know how I feel.
35:45Morgan, you know, he has a drug problem.
35:51I was trying to do the tough love thing with the drug
35:55that they could, like, go get some help.
35:58Yeah.
35:59It's been a struggle.
36:01I can't even imagine.
36:04The mental health stuff is the worst thing.
36:06I didn't have too much money to put him in facilities.
36:09Like, it was $3,000 a month.
36:11And that was more than my mortgage.
36:13And I did it for as long as I could.
36:15Yeah.
36:17He just loved him.
36:19He didn't grow up doing what he's doing now, you know?
36:23I feel like he's just hiding from somebody,
36:25and we're going to find him.
36:26That's what I feel like.
36:28I usually am right.
36:30Like, I would...
36:31I don't know that I've ever actually gotten one wrong.
36:34All right, good night.
36:35Good night.
36:36Good night.
36:37Good night.
36:38I just want to spend time on the night.
36:55I will.
36:56Much of the time, we don't know what we have until it's gone.
36:59on. The pain and suffering that people go through feels unbearable in the moment. It
37:09can be a child, a mother, a father, or even a friend who's missing. And in that moment,
37:18we all wish we had that second chance to put things right before it's too late. That's
37:24why I work missing persons, to bring people back, to give people that second
37:30chance. That's why, no matter what, we will find you.
37:50Easy.
37:54Hey, Heidi. Hey, Vicki. I'm going through Morgan's social media, and I came across this guy,
38:06Easy Green. There's a picture of him and Morgan together. Have you heard that name?
38:10I haven't heard that name. Okay. I'd be interested to talk to him.
38:16When is the last time you saw Morgan? Like three weeks ago. His routine was come over there in the
38:28morning, get some coffee, get a cigarette. Stayed for an hour or two, then he'll go back. He'll be like,
38:34going back home because he was on the medicine. Yeah. And then I ain't seen him no more. Nobody's seen him no more. We've been looking for him because we was worried about him after a week.
38:46What do you think happened to him?
38:48I really don't know.
38:50The thing about Morgan, he always on Facebook. And he's not?
38:54No, he's not on Facebook. So that's what made me like, because me and him, you know what I mean?
38:58Friends on Facebook. So I know, like, I know him. He always posted, posted, posted. Always rapping, posted, posted.
39:06And he's not on Facebook.
39:07Something had to happen to him that, you know what I mean? Like, I'm hoping people will find him.
39:15Do you know Jersey?
39:18I heard of him. I don't know him.
39:20You've never seen him?
39:21Like, he got a bald head?
39:22Mm-hmm.
39:23I haven't seen him, but I don't know him.
39:25Where do you see him at?
39:26Usually at that, at that store, AMP him. Jersey be out there trying to act like he sell drugs.
39:34That was probably like a month ago, though.
39:40Well, you see, and Morgan seem to be good friends.
39:43He knows a lot about Morgan's movements.
39:46Yeah, and according to him, no one's seen Jersey since Morgan disappeared.
39:52It all keeps coming back to the same suspect.
39:55Jersey.
39:56Jersey.
40:07It's narcotics.
40:08I guess you want a little more information about the Al Tariq guy?
40:10I guess he's related to, like, a business person now?
40:12Yeah, so you know how he's also known as Jersey?
40:15Mm-hmm.
40:16His name keeps coming up in a case that we're working.
40:20Jersey was in his apartment a couple times, and he was seen walking around with Jersey,
40:25so that's the last known person to see him alive.
40:28Mm-hmm.
40:29All of the witnesses are saying that Jersey's very violent.
40:32We know he's affiliated with some drug dealings out of Springtree, which is where our missing person case is.
40:38So I was trying to figure out if you guys know anything about him.
40:41He's connected to one of the other targets that we're investigating.
40:44A big guy in South Carolina that's selling a lot of drugs.
40:48I mean, we're trying to find this guy, but we obviously don't want to talk to somebody and mess up something that you guys are already working.
40:55Mm-hmm.
41:00I don't see why not.
41:02It's plausible that he's related to the missing persons, and there's only one way to find out.
41:07Talk to Jersey.
41:13Okay, so this is what we have.
41:15After speaking with multiple people, we have learned that Morgan owed several drug dealers money,
41:23but one name that continues to surface is Jersey.
41:27Narcotics is familiar with him.
41:29He's connected to high-level dealers.
41:31He's violent, and he's the last person seen with Morgan.
41:35And since Morgan disappeared, Jersey hasn't been seen.
41:40So I think the best plan of action is we head back out to Springtree
41:44and start searching the addresses that are linked to the victims
41:49and try to find anything that links to Jersey.
41:59Sheriff's Department!
42:11Wow, look at this.
42:16Good God.
42:20Oh my God.
42:24There's something weird over there.
42:27There's like a bin full of like a liquid.
42:29Something, something's in there.
42:32Don't smell it.
42:33It hit me in the face.
42:35What the?
42:36Oh God.
42:37Howdy.
42:38What is that?
42:39We know for a fact Jersey used to stay in here.
42:52So, could be something Jersey put there.
42:55I mean, do you think that's like...
42:58I hate to say it, but that could be a body part.
43:04What is that?
