00:00Jane Fonda is continuing her new weekly tradition of bringing special celebrity guests to her

00:04Fire Drill Friday protests in Washington, D.C. This time, Rosanna Arquette and Catherine Keener

00:09were arrested alongside the actress. It marks the fourth week in a row the Oscar winner was arrested

00:14during a demonstration for climate change awareness. As you may recall, last week she was

00:18arrested with Ted Danson. She's also previously been arrested while protesting with Sam Waterston.

00:23But this week, instead of being arrested outside of the U.S. Capitol building, Fonda and the other

00:27demonstrators went into the Hart Senate office building, where she conducted an impromptu

00:32press conference. This week's demonstration was focused on women's role in the fight against

00:37climate change. Fonda, Arquette, Keener, and a number of other demonstrators sat on the floor

00:41in a circle singing, We Shall Not Be Moved, and This Land Is Your Land. They also chanted,

00:47What do we want? A Green New Deal. When do we want it? Now. According to the Capitol Police

00:51communications director, Fonda, Arquette, Keener, and 43 other individuals were arrested. As in past

00:57weeks, the protesters were charged with crowding, obstructing, or incommoding. This time after

01:02unlawful demonstration activity in the Hart Senate office building atrium. Fonda's weekly

01:06D.C. demonstrations, set to take place for four months, were inspired by the youth-led

01:11climate strikers. A political activist for decades, Fonda has made it clear she intends

01:15on getting arrested as many times as it takes to get her point across. For more on this story,
