00:05The actress was arrested on Friday on the Capitol while protesting with the group
00:09Oil Change International over climate change. A spokesperson for Capitol Police
00:13spoke to THR saying,

00:34reporter Mike Valerio. Fonda has been a political activist for decades and has
00:38spoken out about her fight over the climate crisis. She posted a message on her own
00:42website on Thursday saying,
00:44She had announced on her website that, inspired by today's youth, she would be
00:57protesting on the Capitol every Friday, rain or shine. In her post, Fonda called the
01:01demonstrations fire drill Fridays and the actress also wrote that,
01:04I've moved to Washington, D.C. to be closer to the epicenter of the fight for our climate.
