Kelsea Ballerini will co-host Monday’s CMT Music Awards remotely after testing positive for COVID-19. She was scheduled to co-host the show with Anthony Mackie. Now, Kane Brown will join Mackie onstage.

00:06The bad news is that a couple of days ago, I tested positive for COVID.
00:13Kelsey Ballerini was all set to host the CMT Awards tonight, but after a COVID-19 diagnosis, what's next?

00:37According to a statement from CMT, Kane Brown, who co-hosted last year's CMT Music Awards alongside Ballerini,
00:43is stepping in to co-host alongside actor Anthony Mackie at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium.
00:49This year's CMT Music Awards will air for the first time on CBS and will stream on Paramount+.
