00:00My jaw hit the floor when I watched those final moments of the finale with Taylor Swift's long-lived playing in the background, the last second twist.
00:09How did you guys, when you guys read that script and saw, you know, just how massively things were going to change in these final moments?

00:21How did you react when you read the script for the finale and saw sort of that last finale twist there?
00:27I think we were shocked. I think reading each episode, there's always a twist all along the way.
00:34And then I think that penultimate one was brilliant.
00:37Yeah. You know, I think we both.
00:40Because ultimately she chooses her sister and that is what's quite nice about it.
00:47Yeah.
00:49Instead of us, which is which.
00:51Unbelievable.
00:51Yeah, there's, I think all, all the different storylines that are kind of running parallel throughout the show that they, they all kind of.
01:04They're, they're crescendos all happen and they, they're kind of all intertwined in many ways.
01:09You know, Virginia and Sedan is very instrumental in your relationship with Nan and my, and Theo's relationship with Nan and Conchita and Richard and, and, and Mabel and everyone.
01:18But that it's kind of like all those things that were, were bubbling separately all come to this one big boil at the end of the episode.
01:26So yeah, when we, I'm pretty sure we were WhatsAppping each other when we read it, like, oh my God, have you got to page, have you got to page 42 yet?
01:34Yeah.
01:35Matthew, in Nan, you know, choosing her sister, she effectively, you know, really sacrifices her relationship with Guy.
01:42I mean, he, he's taking Jenny away, they have boat tickets, does Guy think he'll ever see her again?
01:49Like, is that in his mind at all?
01:52Uh, that's a great question.
01:54I think there's, there's always hope, but I think especially in those times, there's a big, there's a big chance that, um, he won't.
02:04Um, but I suppose the, the, what's happening with Ginny is more important in that moment.
02:12And I think that there's, they're definitely, they're definitely hopeful, but, um, yeah, it's an interesting question.
02:20Yeah.
02:20I reckon there's a big possibility that they're thinking that this might be the last time they ever see each other.
02:24But I think there's a line they say where it's like, um, love has to win or something like that.
02:29And I love that.
02:31Yeah.
02:31Well, which, which that is something out like if they're, if we love each other, we will find a way, which is quite nice.
02:38Absolutely.
02:38And then Guy, on the other hand, Theo is pretty much in the dark here over what's going on, I believe.
02:44Uh, you know, how do you think, you know, just how do you think Theo will react to sort of everything that's going on?
02:52Or is he, is he in the know?
02:54I don't think he is.
02:56No, I don't, I don't think he is.
02:57Definitely.
02:58There are definitely some things he's, he's not aware of, um, that have happened in the last episode or so.
03:05And, and, and what, what happens at the end?
03:08Bless him.
03:09I think he would just be heartbroken.
03:10I don't know.
03:10There's many other ways of, of, of saying it.
03:13I think he has been heartbroken at points along this journey and kind of sacrifices, lots of things, sacrifices, friendships and, and relationships with his family.
03:22And, and, and, and the, the royal system he's been born, brought into.
03:26And I think he, his love for, for Nan is what makes him do those, make those sacrifices.
03:32I think at the end of it, he would just be, uh, he would be really broken and it'd be really interesting to see how he would react.
03:40Oh, I feel sorry for him.
03:41Do you think he would be understanding of, you know, Nan's, you know, Nan's own sacrifice and Guy's sort of role in it all?
03:48I think he would, I think definitely the, the, the, the sacrifice for Ginny, you know, I think if he knew about what, you know, what had been going on with Selen, for sure.
03:58And I think at the end of episode seven, you know, he gets to a point where he says, look, to Guy, tell her everything that was in the letter.
04:04I want, I want you to tell her how you feel and I want her to make the decision.
04:10So I think he would, but then I think, you know, if, if he found out that, you know, they were married and she didn't truly love him, I think he would be very upset about that and, and, and heartbroken.
04:22Yeah.
04:23Well, we'll just have to see how it all unfolds in a potential season two.
