00:01I wanted to introduce myself.
00:03Let me guess, you're the kind of guy that ignores the rules
00:06because it makes you feel in control, am I right?
00:08You're not wrong.
00:09You think that's cute?
00:10Do you think it's cute?
00:13So at its core, Five Feet Apart is a love story,
00:16and every great love story has an obstacle.
00:18Stella is desperately waiting for a lung transplant,
00:21and Will, unfortunately, has a bacteria
00:23that could kill our lead character.
00:26Will, the risk of cross infection
00:28are even higher now, so...
00:30Six feet at all times. I got it.
00:33About seven years ago,
00:35I realized I needed to really focus on
00:37making a difference in the world,
00:38and one of the ideas was My Last Days,
00:41a show about living told by the dying.
00:44And through that show,
00:45I met an amazing young woman named Claire Wineland
00:48who had cystic fibrosis.
00:50And action!
00:51She was able to formulate a number of her thoughts
00:54about the experiences of a person living with CF.
00:57This whole time, I've been living for my treatments
01:00instead of doing my treatments so that I can live.
01:02I want to live.
01:06Justin is truly passionate about the source material.
01:09It was his passion about this project
01:11that really, really brought me to it.
01:13He keeps the energy positive and loving and creative.
01:16That was dope.
01:17He executes this communication about the reality
01:21of people living with terminal diseases.
01:24I wish I could touch you.
01:26The one thing I can tell you
01:27by being friends with people with chronic illnesses
01:30is the things that many of us take for granted
01:32are the things that an entire group of people
01:34are fighting for.
01:35Five feet apart, are you in?
01:39Are you in?
