00:00How you could want to move Mr. Eon Whitey-Pallard?
00:06How can you want to say you want people to go back in Mason Hall District?
00:12We're doing them one by one.
00:14Four persons put up their serve.
00:17There are four of them.
00:19You said that it is the People's Party.
00:23You said that you will allow the grung,
00:28well, the constituents, the grung,
00:32to evaluate the people and send in the evaluation.
00:37And then they will come to your screening committee.
00:41Last Friday, the TPP announced that it is still deliberating on nominees
00:46for the Mason Hall Mariah and Buku Mount Pleasant districts,
00:51held by Eon Pollard and Sonny Craig, respectively.
00:55The statement followed three consecutive days of screening,
00:59which ran late into the night, on Tuesday, November 18th.
01:03Supporter Ava McCall, in a video posted to social media,
01:07issued a passionate appeal,
01:09calling on God to guide the TPP leader's decision-making.
01:13As a man of God, all that we just do,
01:17we look crazy sometimes,
01:18we let God talk to you.
01:22Now mash up our party,
01:24because we will not forgive you.
01:29McCall is not alone.
01:31Another TPP supporter has also spoken out,
01:34warning that the party's recurring delays
01:37are eroding trust among its base.
01:40We can't accept this.
01:43This is a pattern.
01:46Once is a mistake, twice is a habit.
01:48So you're telling me every single time an election call,
01:52and every single time people put themselves forward,
01:56every single time we have to go back,
01:58because we can't choose?
02:02Nah!
02:03Something ain't right.
02:05We have to stop that.
02:06So now it's a bad habit we're encouraging now.
02:13It's a bad habit.
02:15Because honestly, if I was a nominee,
02:18and they say, oh, we have to go back,
02:20I want you to come out, put in, and tell me,
02:23what's the reason why?
02:25In its statement, the TPP says,
02:27that to ensure a transparent and inclusive process,
02:31action groups and district councils
02:33are now being invited to submit additional names
02:37for the two outstanding districts.
02:40These new submissions will be considered
02:42alongside all nominees already screened.
