00:20lecturers from the Tunku Puteri Intan Safinas School of Accountancy, was participating in the
00:26Thai-MYS Cultural Exchange Program 2025 when the flood struck. UUM Deputy Vice-Chancellor
00:33Professor Dr. Ahmad Martada Mohamed, who is currently acting as UUM Vice-Chancellor,
00:40has confirmed that everyone is safe. The program, which began on Monday and was scheduled to run
00:45until November 30, has been temporarily disrupted. University authorities are now working on steps
00:51to resume the program once conditions improve, while maintaining close communication with the
00:57Malaysian Consulate in Hatiai for immediate support. UUM has assured families that the welfare of
01:04students remains their top priority and has urged the public to avoid sharing unverified information
01:10about the incident.
