00:16and your highest ranked team being a team that potentially could not even get

00:20to the championship game.

00:23This is a must win.

00:24Georgia Tech struggled on the road at BC last week.

00:27What do you have in this Pitt-Georgia Tech matchup?

00:29Yeah, the key is going to be, Schlegs, that Georgia Tech defense against Pitt

00:33right now and seeing what they can do because the Yellow Jackets have really

00:36struggled this year.

00:37The last few seasons under Brent Key was a DC by the name of Tyler Santucci.

00:42He kind of reinvented things for Georgia Tech up front in their front seven.

00:46He is now coaching in the NFL for the Baltimore Ravens.

00:48They have really missed that defensive scheme this season.

00:52But to your point, the key that I highlighted here on the Bobby Carpenter

00:55show for Notre Dame and Pitt last week would be the Panthers rushing defense

00:59against Jeremiah Love and the Irish.

01:01Third best in the country entering week 12.

01:04Best in the country in limiting those explosive runs on the ground,

01:07just 2.39 yards per carry.

01:10What did Notre Dame still have success with?

01:12Jeremiah Love in the rushing attack and blowing out Pitt in a line that I think

01:16reflected what Notre Dame was going to do in that game in the Steel City.

01:19The issue for Georgia Tech the last few weeks and the struggles they have had even in the

01:24win against Boston College has been on the defensive side of the ball.

01:27Where they have not had any issue is Haynes King, who is playing like a Heisman caliber quarterback

01:31and basically carrying the jackets on his back to a potential ACC championship berth.

01:37This game is critical for it.

01:39Both of these teams need this game desperately to try to calm some of the chaos within the ACC.

01:46I would lean with Georgia Tech figuring it out enough and trusting in Haynes King,

01:50who I believe is probably the most known commodity that you can have some confidence

01:54and belief in in this game.

01:56I don't know if I'm going to have a bet on it.

01:58I think it's going to be incredibly tight.

01:59It's probably going to be incredibly wacky.

02:01But that's been the way the ACC has played out in 2025.
